“I've used this garage twice now. The first time I had a small accident in a car park, where my rear bumber became slighltly removed and I had two holes in it. I initially took the car to the Toyota garage, where they were going to charge me £1.5k to replace the bumper, they said that's the only thing they could do. I then took it to Ads, who gave me two options, they could either replace the bumber for £700 (basically half price), or they could push the bumper in and sand over and paint over the holes. They were very honest and said it wouldn't be perfect, but they would get it 90% of the way there. I chose to do the cheaper option and to be honest, you wouldn't be able to notice, it was pretty much perfect. The second time my brake pads became rusty, and they fixed them within the day. A really friendly, honest service. A real contrast to a big garage like a toyota one, where it felt like they didn't care.”

“My first time at this garage and was a little concerned as you do but it was not your typical independent garage very clean,tidy and friendly .I had a car in for a MOT with 2 advisory’s that was 100% right after checking we can sometimes take it personal when are cars fail a MOT but remember it’s about safety .”

The lovely lady at the till offered to replace it immediately and then was really helpful checking that my mum could use it due to the arthritis in her thumbs. “Thumbs up from me for an impressive service, the guys at Hobbs are very knowledgeable and very helpful, had an MOT booked first thing Tuesday morning, checked car over Monday (nothing like leaving it to the last minute) and found an LED mirror indicator unit wasn't working, phoned Hobbs as there seemed to be variations of the product, but within minutes they had found the part, (genuine replacement , which was also around a third cheaper) ordered one and had in in the shop in a matter of hours, allowing me to collect it, fit it, and keep my MOT appointment. Aparently one of the windscreen wipers was just about worn out enough which to cause my car to fail the MOT once but they guy there just changed it, gave me a new one for free and did not charge me for the re-run of the MOT. Not only was he very helpful and courteous but he didn't put any pressure on me to purchase the car. In fact, i was given the time to discuss with my wife about the purchase once we decided on a price - very rare these days. Most would asked me to put down a non-refundable deposit! When I went to pick the car a couple of days later, Peter went through all the details pretty thoroughly with me.
