“Not sure about the older reviews - I see mixed opinions; my experience with it - we just ordered from Rajeev after he moved to the Jolly Farmers pub. Food was very nice, arrived quick with no delivery fee and they’ve got a lot of mains in the menu that I never tried / you typically don’t find in most Indian restaurants. We’ll order again surely and looking forward for the summer to eat in at the pub garden.”

“I’m Greek living in UK and was looking a place where can I have a Greek lunch and find out this corner that made me travel back home with their generous portion of mix grill oh and how can not mention their tzatziki sauce you’ll love it ! Kind staff that know how to treat their costumers. “Edit 11 April: just ordered from Tuk Tuk for the third time and omg whomever was cooking tonight, kudos to them! Absolutely incredible and took me right back to Thailand! Loved the Tom yum rice and the chilli and basil pork stir fry with coconut rice!!! Holy WOW!!! 5 star and the best Thai takeaway in the area! Ordered drunken noodles, pad Thai and tom yum fried rice from here and I have to say, whilst it’s one of the best Thai’s in the area (Purley is seriously lacking), it could still be better. The pad Thai was lovely with lovely large prawns but the sauce tasted like it was from a jar rather than authentic tamarind. The drunken noodles were smokey and didn’t taste like authentic pad kee mow, but the Tom yum fried rice, in spite of not being fully authentic, was amazing! Really good flavours and good sized prawns. Overall, it tastes like someone not Thai, making Thai food. Apologies if this is incorrect, but just the way it came across in the cooking. Yes, I would definitely order from Tuk Tuk again as it was mega tasty, but it’s personally not authentic enough to satisfy my Thai craving.”

“Came to this restaurant with my daughter for the first time, the food was delicious especially the lamb bhuna and the coconut rice. The prawn puri for starter was the best I had tasted. Big portions and very tasty food. Staff were very nice and the restaurant was lovely clean and calm. Very reasonably priced and even offered a complimentary shot of baileys. All customers appeared to be regulars in there. Would definitely go there again. Thank you for a lovely evening.”

“I’ve been ordering from China Red for the last year and a half and their food never ceases to amaze me, it’s my go to takeaway when I have guests over and everyone compliments how tasty it is! Love the food as always, they are also accommodating as I’m the type to remove ingredients from certain dishes. I would absolutely recommend.”

“Always hot and fresh if you eat in/takeaway - coin toss with delivery services as usual. From my experience food is always made to order unlike at most fast food places - you might wait a few minutes but it's worth it.”
