“Great choice of local food on their menu. I went for the pork belly with rice, including salad, and springs rolls as a starter/side. Sauce was tangy but not overbearing as the rice and salad helps balance the taste. Vast restaurants here, and would recommend if you’re looking to try a different cuisine!”

“The hainanese chicken rice was amazingly tasty. The ginger and chilli sauce really matches well with the dish. I ordered the combo that has the char siew bbq meat. It has the flavour in there though may not be exactly like the one you have in an Asian restaurant. I love the fact the store does not add MSG on their dishes making an amazing dish to eat. Would come back and order again in the future.”

“Pit stop and we were so pleasantly surprised. Lovely staff, ever so polite, patient and attentive with everyone that was there at the restaurant that evening. Absolutely loved the food; such good quality, very tasty and good size portions. Also, the food came hot and ready to eat, very happy about that (as I love my food hot)!! I would totally recommend this place if you are passing by. The reviews are not 100% making this place justice. The only thing I would have to say is that they are a little pricey compared to many places in and around London area.”

“Very good sushi in elegant, yet cosy, settings. The tuna tartare presentation and balance of flavours were up to the level of a Michelin star restaurant and the maki were flavoursome and fresh. We were really impressed by the homemade ice-cream with a selection of unusual flavours including miso and sesame. The staff is extremely welcoming, offering exceptional customer service. Highly recommended!”

“Wow! Having moved to London two months ago I have struggled to find a good quality sushi restaurant that doesn't cost an arm and a leg, who knew I have one right on my doorstep in St John's Wood! I loved the decor and was warmly greeted by friendly, hospitable staff, the service was great, especially given how busy they were and the food was beautifully presented with the flavour to match, there isn't a dish we ordered that I wouldn't order again! We ordered yellowtail carpaccio and the aubergine miso, along with a couple gorgeous salads and some maki rolls, all cooked to perfection! I would also definitely recommend staying for dessert, we ordered two to share and both were delicious! Overall, a great experience as I told the owner when he came over to introduce himself to our table and thank us for our custom, seems like a great guy and told him we will be back, the sooner the better!”

“Fantastic food and big portion size. I had nasi lemak with chicken rendang. The price may feel high but the portion is worth it. Being away from home always taking comfort in the food and Onde Onde was definitely the best. Never knew home country food was just around the corner. Highly recommended”

“We had dinner here yesterday! Absolutely loved it! Generous servings, home cooked meals and very friendly staff. We had beef brisket pho and satay chicken for main which are both very tasty, but the highlight of the night for me was the mixed starters of prawn toast, satay skewers, spring rolls and ribs - postios were very generous, everything tasty and was not oily at all unlike other shops. Will definitely come back to try the clay pot dishes and maybe the buffet too!”

“Such a wonderful restaurant. Great seating, clean. I had the loveliest server called Victoria - she was brilliant. Gave me a fantastic recommendation for late lunch/ early dinner. Felt really luck to be there at happy hour! The portions of food are generous and delicious! Have return again since then- the portions are wonderfully generous. The Vietnamese coffee tastes great too! Definitely recommend this restaurant!”

Salt and pepper squid was perfect, and green curry with shrimps was just a tad bit too salty. A lot of shrimps in it, though. The staff was friendly and professional, and they were following all the Covid prevention measures.”
