"Went to the Itsu in St Albans a few days ago for lunch. I got one avocado sushi, and one Meso soup. Due to the sushi, the Meso soup was reduced, which definitely improved the price of the meal, as eat in was a lot more expensive. The actual food was really nice, the avocado was fresh, and the soup was very hot, I would definitely go back. The facilities were clean, but the table needed wiping, which was a little disappointing, as it was very sticky. Overal it was a really nice experience, with great food, and I would go back, only to be improved if they wiped the table"

"Slightly overpriced for what it is. Toilets are dirty and portions are definitely smaller than previously. They do not regularly offer free lunches for those waiting over 90 seconds so that is false advertising. When confronting the staff about it, they said that "they just don't do it". Then why put it on the packaging then?"

"Food very much itsu standard, so no surprise there. The atmosphere however not great, Sunday evening full of teens, 'bruv' -ing one another, including the young man at the counter who served us our food wearing a hoodie....not great..."

"Every visit since opening I've been served by extremely helpful and friendly staff who took the time to help with allergy concerns despite it being relatively busy at times. The food is exactly what I'd expect for the price and always fresh and tasty. Can't go wrong with a miso or coconut pot on a cold day! If you want artisanal sushi made to order in a more "authentic" atmosphere, you may want to look somewhere else though, Itsu is a quick eats place - and does that very well!"
