“Another very good and comfortable stay. The staff at the hotel and also the Beefeater are lovely, friendly and creates a very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere with a local feeling, despite being in a heavily industrialised area. Very warm and welcoming and will stay again. The restaurant itself was closed but the bar was open and we were invited to use the bar area for ordering in a delivery, as were the other guests. It worked really well.”

“Lovely experience with ladyr. I booked them to take me to my wedding venue. The car turned up in plenty of time. Driver was very friendly and got some lovely photos too. The personalised ribbon was an extra touch which so many people complimented and we absolutely loved it. The car was immaculate and in pristine condition. So glad I used this company. “I love Centaur! If you currently commute from Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge or Sevenoaks by Southeastern on the train, you should seriously consider the coach. You get a seat, pretty similar commute time to Canary Wharf and none of the train pain! Oh, and it is much, much cheaper. The only real downside is they run less often so you have to some control of your leaving time or be willing to get a train home on occasion. They do free trial days, so definitely worth a try!”

“We are still in lock down, so I didn't go in, so it's difficult to give a good review. But we ordered at the window (2 bacon baps with brown source and 2 teas), waited outside for 5 minutes (my wife was complaining about something or other) and other the baps were ready, we eat them outside. It was all very covid safe and the baps were lovely (to be honest, its difficult not to do a good bacon bap....). It will be interesting to go back when it fully reopens.”

“Stayed here with work. Very clean accommodation. Very Friendly staff. Next to the lake and Lakeside shopping centre. Free on site car parking. Bargain priced food. 2 courses under £13. Happy hour on drinks in bar between 5 and 7. Brilliant value accommodation. Yes maybe a little short staffed but I was not in any rush. Its not marketed as a top class hotel so don't expect it. If you want that then book elsewhere. If you want basic, clean accommodation with friendly staff then book here. Will definitely stay again when in area. Brilliant value for money.”

“A great hotel for commuters and business travellers. Looking at the below reviews, i don’t feel they are a true reflection of what Fulwich is like. As a Graduate Building Surveyor who travels from Essex to Kent i stay in the Fulwich most weeks. My stay has always been pleasant. The rooms are spacious, fairly modern and with all amenities you would require. Rooms are regularly cleaned on daily basis and Lisa (landlady) is very welcoming and would always deal with any queries promptly. The location is great - only 15 mins walk to Dartford town centre and parking isn’t an issue as most streets are non- restrictive. The value for money is definitely a large factor here and for a hotel that is placed within excellent commuter infrastructure, the cleanliness, amenities and service - you couldn’t find anything remotely as good as Fulwich for the rates they charge. I love this historic property and have become a regular here (subject to their availability). In a summary, this place is a bargain and you would be stupid looking elsewhere for same value, because you won’t find it!”
