“We were told about Tailored Journeys by a colleague of mine when I asked about his Sri Lankan trip. On his recommendation we contacted Manoj and he put together an itinerary for us based on what we told him we were interested in. We left the UK on 6th March and returned on the 23rd just as the UK was closing down. The Si Lankan holiday was a wonderful experience with excellent hotels and organised expeditions and that was made even better by our driver/guide Sam who was a mine of information. The only draw-back was the cancellation of the Whale watching trip, but this was due to a government directive based on the Corona-19 pandemic. (Tailored Journeys’ refund was in our account within a couple of weeks without any problems, thanks). However, the most impressive aspect was the care and attention shown by Manoj and the people at Viluxur Holidays SL in monitoring the ongoing situation and keeping us informed and assured of what was happening both in Sri Lanka and the UK making it a stress free holiday. “Most reviews talk about how great their trip was. And yes, my trip was great, but the true test of a booking company is how they plan ahead, solve problems and respond. Travel Butlers absolutely had my back, doing the research, answering endless questions & solving problems BEFORE they occurred. I have traveled over 40 countries now and most of the time I make all my own arrangements. But African countries can be particularly challenging and then throw in the varying and ever changing Covid requirements, yellow fever, etc. and it can be a nightmare. Prior to the African safari trip with Travel Butlers, I had another Safari planned with a different booking agent in Uganda. It was Tracy at Travel Butler's that alerted me to the yellow fever vaccine required that I did not have, not the other booking company! It was Tracy at Travel Butler's not the other booking agent that helped me maneuver through all those requirements. Travel Butlers solved several other problems for me that were not their doing. They were simply awesome. I met with a couple whose trip was a disaster and they blamed it completely on the booking agent that they hired. I believe that Travel Butlers is very competitive in their pricing but for your sake as well as the trip - look beyond the pricing. You want to have great memories, not a nightmare like the other booking company almost provided.”

“Just returned from a 12 night stay which was booked for us by Sue Aitken, at The Adaaran select Hudhuranfushi resort in the Maldives, absolutely amazing, we upgraded to an ocean villa with its private butler, and nothing was too much trouble for him. “We had the private group full day tour of Paris and thought that it was absolutely necessary to provide a review of our experience with Travel Curious and our guide Pierre-Yves. Travel Curious ensured that we would enjoy our day trip to Paris by making certain we were able to do a tour of the Eiffel Tower and provided us with complimentary upgraded tickets to the summit. They stayed in communication with me from the time of my booking up until the day before our tour. Our guide Pierre-Yves continued this excellent service by going ABOVE AND BEYOND ensuring that not only did we get a full history and background of every major landmark in France but he also took additional measures to take care of us. He was extremely knowledgeable of not only the art in the Louvre, but the architecture and history of all the buildings we passed as well as the city. Pierre gave us a full Paris experience by bringing us walking past landmarks and to the secret spots with amazing views for pictures, took us on a boat, on a train and even a bus. We went to destinations which were not pre-planned and he never once complained. He stayed with us the entire day up until the tour for the Eiffel Tower was set to begin. He even avoided drinking his water at one point because we said we were thirsty and he wanted to ensure we got our water first. He was the best tour guide we have EVER been with in any country and will highly recommend him and Travel Curious to anyone we know visiting Paris. Thank you!”
