I was in East Croydon for highly distressing personal reasons (to appear as a witness in Family Court) when a wheel bearing went in my Subaru. The AA (who I had called) highly recommended Kinghams, then escorted me there. They thought they could it relatively easily and that I’d be able to travel on down to Cornwall to visit my son and grandchildren who I haven’t seen for a year. . Sadly, the more they looked at the car the more problems they found. I was kept informed (so efficiently by video film) and difficulties arose because of the well-publicised shortage of parts. They eventually fixed my problems by bastardising one of their new, for-sale cars leaving it unsaleable until September when the parts can be replaced by Subaru. This is almost unimaginable service. They were kind, courteous, informative and great in every way. They have eventually managed a top class job of getting my car safely back on the road. “Visited today and was met by Michael really friendly helpful man. My mum was with me and we needed 2 new tyres on her disability vehicle. Michael looked after us while we waited ensuring at all times my mum was comfortable on the chairs in reception. Michael also parked the car right by the front door once it was finished so my mum didn’t have far to walk in the rain. This guy has exceptional customer service and goes above and beyond for all clients who visit. I mentioned my amazing experience to a neighbour who funny enough had the same fantastic experience by the guy Michael. Honestly can’t recommend enough I just hope Kwik fit know how lucky they are to have him working for them!! True gem of a guy !”

Kept me informed of the cost and charged a reasonable fee given that it proved to be a time consuming fix. Highly recommend them if you are after a reliable garage in croydon.”

“Thumbs up from me for an impressive service, the guys at Hobbs are very knowledgeable and very helpful, had an MOT booked first thing Tuesday morning, checked car over Monday (nothing like leaving it to the last minute) and found an LED mirror indicator unit wasn't working, phoned Hobbs as there seemed to be variations of the product, but within minutes they had found the part, (genuine replacement , which was also around a third cheaper) ordered one and had in in the shop in a matter of hours, allowing me to collect it, fit it, and keep my MOT appointment.
