“Excellent room. The room I had was large and everything you need was there (including the kitchen sink .... Well ok no kitchen sink, but there was a mini fridge!). Staff were great. Highly recommend staying here.”

“What a lovely experience today. Not having been for years, I thought I was taking my guests for a Fine Dining lunch only to be gently informed that I was at the wrong Grosvenor. However the charming receptionist checked with their restaurant and then escorted us across as availability was made. The restaurant service was excellent and despite my guests causing confusion with their meal choices, nothing was a problem. No e of this would have happened without ,on arrival, the wonderful porters who were wonderful in sorting out our car parking issues. Thank you so much for making our visit so lovely today.”

“This is the 2nd time I have used Roomzzz and they did not disappoint. Fantastic little hotel for a short stay away. Rooms offer everything you need with adorable decor. The staff however are what make this place, extremely helpful and welcoming who are there whenever you need them. The amenities are great aswell and it’s in great location for you to go round Chester! Wouldn’t defiantly recommend staying here for a great short stay!”

“Love coming to Barlounge for good some good nibbles and cocktails with friends. This occasion were more special as it was my best friend's birthday. Even though the evening didn't start off so well with one of the unprofessional staff regarding the cooking but thankfully another colleague could rectify the issue. We got seated in the bar area and couldn't have been a better place for us. We were looked after by May who was amazing and made the occasion more special for us. She was friendly professional and very attentive, then after that we had Ben looking after us which the same he was very friendly and attentive. The service we have received by the 2 colleagues were brilliant and we would definitely return and recommend to friends and family. Thank you to you both again for making the night more special for us.”

“Went for lunch with my daughter as this is where she is having her wedding reception next year. Very friendly and helpful staff and lovely relaxed atmosphere. We had a sharing board and everything on it was delicious. Coffee was also good, as we have decaffeinated and this can sometimes be either not available or awful but not here. Can't wait for the wedding meal!”

“This was the second visit to The Yard for my husband and I, having truly enjoyed the first. We invited a couple of friends to have dinner with us so we could catch up, having not seen each other for over 20 years. At the time of booking, I had requested a relatively quiet table so that we could chat comfortably. When Aimee, the delightful General Manager, greeted us on arrival, we were impressed that she had considered my request and seated us in a pleasant, quiet booth. It was a superb evening again! The service, food and ambiance were all excellent. You can sense that the team at The Yard are all passionate about offering a great dining experience. Of course, it was a real treat to try more of Carl the Head Chef’s dishes, especially when we explained to our friends that he had worked with Gordon Ramsay in his 2 Michelin Star restaurant. Furthermore, there is nothing pretentious about The Yard. It’s great food at great prices!”

“The best Italian restaurant I know . Always go back. This was our first time in Piccolino Chester and was not disappointed. Met our expectations. We went on Saturday night for food and drinks, pasta + pizza were the best I've had. Staff was very nice and we're making a nice atmosphere so everyone enjoyed , we had so much laughter it was definitely a great start of Saturday night. Went back Sunday for lunch and couldn't leave it was so lovely , everyone smiling making sure you leave the place satisfied. Portions were huge , well seasoned. Already planning to go back.”

“We couldn't have enjoyed ourselves more than at Veeno Chester for my friend's 50th. The area we were given upstairs (with one window overlooking the catherdral) had been decorated with tasteful eco friendly decorations, the food and drink was delicious but most special of all was the personal touch from our wonderful waiter Josh. He saw to our every need and was so welcoming and friendly. Thank you Josh!”

“Stayed here last night with my wife. Looks amazing driving in with lots of parking at rear. Kai on front desk very helpful and proffesional(loved my 'welcome cookies'). Room was very clean, well kitted out and very comfortable bed. The bar/dining area is spacious and staffed well. Had a lovely night here and will definitely return at some point”

“This is a lovely hotel, we stayed in a nice studio room and it’s very quirky with a nice wet room and clean kitchen, it’s only 1 mile from the city centre and the staff and lovely and receptive. For the price it’s an absolute bargain I would recommend to anybody looking for a clean room to stay in the beautiful historic city of Chester”
