“Went for an afternoon tea as we had a voucher from last Christmas. Was very pleasantly surprised to find we were having a festive afternoon tea. The food was brought out in two parts, the savoury food was gorgeous and very filling, then when the sweet treats were brought out, OMG, beautifully presented and so many, had to take quite a few home. “Fantastic fresh food! We have lived in the area for 6 years and I honestly don't know why it has taken us so long to try this place out! It is definitely the best in town! Highly recommend the thai green curry (if you like it hot!) and the katsu chicken was a good size and the chicken was fresh and moist. Very impressed and will definitely go back!”

“The service was impeccable. Everybody was friendly, efficient, seem like they genuinely wanted to be there. The food was very nice. I had the Roasted loin of lamb with a red wine & rosemary sauce served with dauphinoise potatoes & seasonal the lamb was tender. The potato was soft, fluffy creamy on the inside and crispy on the outside and the gravy was rich and tasty and my husband has Roast Shropshire Turkey the turkey was moist and succulent roast potatoes crispy and Inot your usual eat out roast potatoes, more like home-cooked roast potatoes. overall great experience. The only thing that let it down was the doorbell noise. every time food was ready it just took a little bit away from the experience.”

“All the reviews are true, this place is fabulous. Went for lunch with my friend and ordered from the vegan menu. So nice to have so many options to choose from and every dish was mouthwatering. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and we had 5 star service. Plus until the end of April 2022, there is 20% off if you go for lunch. Even more reason to check out this delightful eatery. “Visited yesterday for my birthday. Food is exceptional, portion sizes are very generous. All the staff were very pleasant and nothing was too much trouble. We all enjoyed the lunch time menu 2 courses for £14. My daughter is very restricted in what foods she will eat. Chef took the trouble to come out and speak to her personally to ask what ingredients she likes to adapt a dish for her. Then came back out to ask if it was ok. I would highly recommend a visit.”

“Our Friday night visit was hard to fault. If there is a downside then i would suggest it could be a bit brighter inside which is hardly a deal breaker. Conversely the service and attention would be it's main strength as well as the food of course. I particularly liked the accompanying dips with the poppadoms. Our shared sheekh kebab starter was a bit "firm" but still pleasant enough. The curries and chicken in our "special dishes" were both excellent. Nice rice and nan, standard chips! I did like the fact that they are licensed but happy for you to take your own alcohol. I note some people taking their own soft drinks. Perhaps a fair proposal would be a corkage for anyone taking their own ? Very reasonably priced and well worth a visit.”

“Again, TABA IFE is the place to be. This time, I brought the whole family, and EVERYBODY had fun, from my elderly parents to my toddler. I will absolutely recommend it for anybody in need of a good time, it accomodates whites, brown's and blacks.”

“We had set menu B and shared a dessert (Banna fritter). I would def recommend the set menu if it’s your first time going because there is lots of choice to pick from. Drinks were also reasonable and customer service was excellent. For you foodies out there is place is definitely one to try !”
