Super ambience, inviting, snug, hyggelig, cozy… call it what you like, no blaring screens / music to kill the atmosphere of warm conversation or if you prefer, just enjoying a top-notch pint in peace. Usually full of sociable folk, aways a pleasure to visit. It’s my favourite pub by far a gem of an establishment.”

“We booked in for tea on Sunday night. I love this place. The food was amazing. I ordered the cherry pie cocktail that was amazing. There is a guy who works in there that's always friendly always help to help and he always brings a lovely atmosphere to the place. I work in mold and love to support local. Please try this place”

“The Raven is our go to pub when we are away at the caravan. The pub is community ran and a real integral point of the village. All the staff and users of the pub are welcoming and to make things even better, they are a dog friendly pub. The choice of drinks are well varied and the food is first class. The portion sizes are ample and we particularly love their roast dinners, haddock and chips and the little baskets of scampi. We are so lucky to have this on our doorstep and would recommend this pub to anybody.”

“An excellent foody place with its own golf course and stunning grounds, we went there for a christening and (on a separate occasion) a funeral. They have a great space and the food was really nice, we'll definitely book it again for future christenings, birthdays, wedding receptions, religious celebrations, book clubs, paper company conventions, and of course funerals.”

“This is a great pub just outside Mold. Top place to sit outside and enjoy a few drinks in the sun. Equally as good for a family gathering or food with friends. The food is pretty good. The smoked salmon tortellini was really fresh and light. The ham and cheese croquettes, a bit heavy on the ham and low on the cheese, were slightly large for a croquette but still tasted fine. The chicken, ham and leek pie was delicious. Served with a buttery mash, greens, a carrot and a nice white wine and tarragon sauce. The service was really helpful and friendly. Worth a visit!”

“Faye, our server was brilliant. A very warm welcome. Plenty of time given to browse the menu, then with her assistance we were able to get exactly the meal we wanted (a smaller portion of the Fish&Chips), which she facilitated. She couldn't have done any more to make our experience a good one. And such a lovely friendly smiley young woman - a credit to the establishment.”

“We called in to this pub en route to somewhere else and I have to say that the staff were so friendly, I’ve honestly never felt so welcomed to a pub we haven’t visited before. The food and service was also excellent, they couldn’t do enough for two hungry and tired strangers!! Highly recommend!! Well done all of you.”
