“First visit. Had a lovely meal. Finally an Italian which is reasonably priced!! Staff were friendly and attentive without being too much. 3/4 of us had the set menu which had a really good selection. The food was delicious and generous portion sizes. Excellent range of drinks (especially as 2 of us are pregnant)”

“Our experience is always excellent when we dine at Zizzi's but today they went the extra mile . A lovely young lady by the name of Nikita served us and when our bill arrived she asked for our gift voucher code. Unfortunately this wasn't being recognised so instead of dismissing it she sat with us and helped us renew the voucher in between serving other customers with a smile a true gem. We really appreciate all her efforts thank you very much Nikita.”

“Upgraded to 5 Stars.I can't believe we never written a review last time we came, before lock down. It's a 45 minute drive here, on a early evening in October, when it goes dark by 7. Had Crispy duck, spring roll, ribs and chow mein, lots of coffee. The setting is spectacular. Come see and taste the fresh food. Fantastic.”

“went on a Saturday night and they managed to squeeze us in being a table of 2. we shared calamari for starters which was cooked beautifully followed by both of their fish dishes cooked in a traditional mexican style. very tasty and again cooked perfectly followed by a really tasty dessert we shared which was plenty. very nice atmosphere and on leaving every member of staff said goodbye and have a good evening. really recommend”

“Delicious food! We went for a family meal for my dad's birthday, on steak night. Added a start too, I had the halloumi and it was really nice, then the steaks, were amazing quality!”

“Their staff are a credit to them, they couldn't do enough for us. We turned up on a busy Sunday lunchtime and they just about managed to squeeze us in (booking highly recommended for the weekends). The carvery was delicious and ample. We were really impressed with the views even from the main restaurant. Next time we return we'll be booking early to try and secure a spot in the conservatory overlooking the bottom lock.”

“Fairly varied menu, something for everyone I'd say. Our party all enjoyed their food, with good portions served. My Calzone was good, not the best I've had but tasty and packed with flavour. The Tiramasu was disappointing as it didn't appear to contain any liquor and was quite small.”
