“I live locally and rarely come here. We aren't 'pub people'. Our son and young grandchildren came up and rather than cooking we went to the Stamford for Sunday lunch. The adults had beef /turkey and the kids ate off the kids menu (fish fingers/beef burger both with chips and beans) What a success. Service was very good and the food excellent. I was very agreeably surprised. We will come again. Recommended.”

“Beautiful place. A hidden gem in Leicestershire. We went late afternoon had tea unfortunately no cakes they were sold out. Walked around the lake. My dog loved it and the attention (treats) he got from the staff. I'll definitely return maybe for dinner next time.”

“Wow first time at The Craddock Arms and it was brilliant went on a day with good weather so opted to sit outside the inside of the pub looked really nice and clean with really comfy seats. The outside was done up with bench and tables. Lots of choice of beer wine and alcohol as you'd expect. The food was brilliant one of the best Sunday lunches I have had amazing loads on your plate tasted amazing. Had a astarter as well and was different and taste fantastic. Highly recommended this pub for a Sunday lunch will come back”

“Came here for bottomless brunch and it was 10/10. The staff were so friendly and always noticed straight away when our glasses were empty- unlike turtle bay where most of your 2 hour slot is spent waiting for your drinks. Such good value for money, nice atmosphere, food was lovely and so were the cocktails would definitely recommend”

“Stopped on our way to Hope Valley with my dog, we had a lovely baguette and sandwich with chips. The poor guy was on his own and cooed very well with bar, kitchen with tables. Must say the garden pictures on the website are nothing like the real thing! Very friendly with dogs welcome in all areas.”

“A lovely little restaurant, with nice decor and ambiance. First time for me and my family trying Lebanese cuisine which we all very much enjoyed particularly the lamb. Wide menu selection with generous portion sizes and friendly staff. Parking was the only issue as it took me about ten minutes to find a spot not to far. Will definitely be returning.”

“Second time visiting The Bragate, always a really nice roast dinner. Huge Yorkshire puddings. Nice selection of vegetables and good portion of meat. Very reasonable price too and can choose between 1,2 and 3 courses depending on how hungry you are. Would definitely recommend. We arrived later in the day on a Sunday but would recommend to book if you desperately want a table as is very popular as close to Bradgate Park”

“I’ve been coming here for a few years since 2017. But now it’s really took a turn, I was welcomed by Lauren and enjoyed the event she put on. We were well informed by what The Loaded Dog has to offer and was treated with respect! I’ve never known anything like it - I look forward to see what other events there are because trust me I will be attending all of them if Lauren is behind it! As for customers I see nothing but everyone having a good time in a safe space! All sorts of different crowds which is what a place should be - a collective group of diversity. “Terrific pub, doesn't look much from the outside but a favourite haunt of my son's whilst at DMU and we had a drink with him there on his graduation day, great service and very reasonable prices plus footy on all the TVs, super”
