“Honestly what baffles me is that half the reviews here are blaming the delivery companies rather than the establishment itself with really annoys me. the Grill and Angies for me are always the place to go to for fried chicken. It always tastes good, they cook fresh to order and yes, the workers might seem tired and perhaps grumpy at times but they have to almost always deal with drunken students on the regular. Will continue to come back to these geezers”

“We attended Wednesday Pie Night yesterday. My veggie partner had Cauliflower Cheese pie, one of their new veggie offerings, and I had Lamb and Rosemary, both with chips, though mash, prepared by Amanda's mum, is also available. Both were fab, perfectly cooked cauliflower and 'cheesy' sauce. The Lamb was obviously good quality, really tender, and perfectly enhanced by the right amount of rosemary. Side veg was again perfectly cooked and the chips were lovely and crisp. Great value too at £12 which, includes a pint! Highly recommended, already booked for next week!”

“Amazing joint for fast food. Don't let the appearance deceive you as the food speaks for itself. The doner is one of the best imo and no not the special, the plain doner has its own masala/flavours inside the actual doner. The burgers are amazing and freshly cooked especially beef. Grilled chicken and pizza are really worth trying. Definitely recommend.”

“Had a lovely meal at the Black Horse. We visited on a Wednesday lunchtime, I'd say it was busy for 12:30pm which is nice to see. The food was fantastic, plentiful, hot and tasty. The staff were really welcoming. Defo recommend.”

“A really nice intimate place in Leicester. Has a nice cosy family vibe to the restaurant and the interior has a lot of nice Turkish elements which give it a nice homely atmosphere. The food is really good quality and tastes authentically Turkish. The only other Turkish place I have tried in Leicester was Etci Baba but in all honesty, I much preferred it here at Nazar BBQ. Would definitely recommend and come again!”
