“Our daughter joined Bumbles in 2019, from the beginning we have received an outstanding service. Firstly, we had a home visit from two members of staff; they sat on the floor in our house and played with our daughter, chatting to her and asked her what she liked doing. Matilda warmed to them immediately and didn’t want them to leave. Next we were invited to a settling in session where we were able to stay with her, I was overwhelmed when we arrived at the settling in session as the room had set up a Farmyard with animals as that is what our daughter had told them at the home visit that she liked animals. I was so emotional and grateful at the compassion and empathy shown by the girls that I was completely blown away and knew that this nursery was special. Our daughter was immediately content in the room. Three years on and the nursery continue to excel and showcase their innovative and inspiring ideas. 

The nursery management and staff are approachable, knowledgeable and extremely caring and compassionate. The nursery is a family run business and this is clear in everything they do. We receive regular communications via the App and also from the staff at drop off and pick up and every member of staff is equipped to answer any queries. Our daughter loves everything about Bumbles, the messy play, the activities, the outdoor area, the soft play, the staff and also the food! We are consistently kept informed of our daughters development through the App and also Parent Consultations with the staff informing us that they do extra activities with her to ensure that she is stretched. 

Bumbles successfully achieves the balance between learning and playing and they have created an amazing, fun, homely, welcoming learning environment where the children feel comfortable to be themselves. Everyday we look forward to hearing about the day at Bumbles as she has always experienced something new and has a different story to tell. We are constantly recommending Bumbles to our family and friends, and they are genuinely surprised when they hear from us just how much Bumbles do to personalise your child’s experience and ensure that their needs are met. “Deciding which nursery to send our child to was one of the biggest decisions of our parenthood at the time. As soon as we step foot in Muddy Boots Acomb, we were welcomed with open arms. They showed us around and had a real interest in us and our child. They answered all our questions and anxieties, putting us at ease straight away. I just felt that this was going to be somewhere they would look after my child the way I would whilst I’m not there. We are now two years down the line and I have two children with Muddy Boots and they absolutely love it! They love going, spending long days there, but they never complain, they are just so happy to be there. Whenever I pick up I get a handover with a report of everything my child has done that day, and the staff make me feel like my child is the only one that goes there. They just seem to know every little detail, and I just feel like the staff are really interested in my child’s wellbeing, and want them to succeed and do well. We are both really ecstatically happy with Muddy Boots, we would shout it from the rooftops and recommend them. If you want your children to be looked after well and taken care of, and to feel like they are number one in their room it’s definitely a place to send them!”

“My son has been at natures little learners nursery since September 2021. He’s been in the baby room and has recently moved to the toddler room. My partner and I both have nothing but good things to say about the nursery and staff here. We moved him here from a different nursery (much bigger) where he struggled to settle in. He has had consistent key workers who we see daily with updates verbally given alongside an app. We are able to go to work and not worry about him here. The staff in both rooms are amazing with him. He is very sensitive soul and often needs some extra help/time (contact naps, has struggled with weaning/foods and touching things like messy play and being near other kids) but the nursery have been supportive with these and he is thriving now at nursery. We like the app where we see pictures of him and can see what he has had to eat, when he has been changed or what he has been doing. He loves the indoor and outdoor space, the food and free flow play. They do a great Christmas parents, child and Santa Saturday morning and occasional other special stay and play sessions. We wouldn’t want him at any other nursery. Parking can be tricky at times however you can eventually get a space in the car park. Plus they have covered space to leave a buggy.”

“Great concept and the kids absolutely loved it to the point where they didn't want to leave. Sessions definitely need to be longer. We had the afternoon tea too which was lovely and quite a big portion per person. Staff were extremely friendly and I loved the idea of tidy up time 5 mins before the sessions end as the kids actually got involved.”

“We love the little gym! The staff are very caring, engaging with your little one and professional. I value them showing you how to safely experiment with you toddler and love getting involved too! Our daughters physical confidence has grown so much and she squeals in delight toddling into the classes. We're now moving up from Birds to the next group and we can't wait.”

She engaged all the children and made us feel welcome and made our son feel really special too. The venue was super clean, really efficient, everything had been considered by our host and we didn't have to lift a finger. All the kids and parents provided great feedback. Would definitely recommend Kids Club House to anyone... whether it's popping in for a play date and bite to eat or considering a birthday party here!”

“We've been going to crazy tykes for about 8 years now and we absolutely love it. Super clean, excellent food, lovely soft play and a great outside area. The staff are friendly and we can relax with a coffee whilst our children play. Every time we go, the kids never want to leave. We live in York and it is well worth travelling even from a bit further away.”

“Great little soft play for toddlers. Not too big that you lose them, yet plenty for them to do....with a ball pool, trampoline, block area and medium sized triple slide which my two year olds could navigate on their own. Nice sensory area for babies, although all the toddlers were envious of all the nice toys in there, so would have maybe preferred if they extended this area to under 3's only. Food basic but reasonably priced and enjoyed by all. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Would recommend.”

“Both my children have attended hillside. My daughter has just started school this time however my son is still there. Both my children have thrived at hillside and their development has come along great. The staff are approachable, friendly and professional and you get a detailed breakdown of the day. My son has food allergies and the staff cater to his needs. The nursery has provided outstanding care for my children and I would highly recommend and would not have sent my children anywhere else.”

“I recently went to purchase some final bits of uniform from kool kids and when I spoke to the staff the said that they couldn't guarantee that my order would be here by the start of the new school term. They would order it and hope it would. The shop was extremely busy and that staff worked well through serving all their customers. They were friendly, helpful, polite and super approachable.”
