“I only bought a vegan pasty (I think it was called a Pennine pasty) but had to leave a review as it was one of the tastiest things I have ever eaten. My family bought other things here and were equally pleased. Nice staff. Very nice pasty. Wish I'd bought two instead of going over the road for chips. Edit: have now returned and tried the vegan cheese and jalapeno pasty and the mince n onion pasty and though the Pennine is my favourite the others are tasty too. I normally hate vegan cheese but it works here.”

The wonderful owner gave me loads of ideas, payment was easy (either over the phone or the online store) and delivery was fast. Such a lovely shop, I highly recommend it if you're in the Leeds area. “Great local workers co-operative. Fresh organic veg and fruit and an excellent selection of produce including chilled and frozen. The vegan selection is particularly good. Also stock bread from a local co-operative. As a workers co-operative there are no 'managers' here but a number of locals who work hard to provide a friendly atmosphere, good quality products and support sustainability and fairtrade. A great place to shop.”

“Got veg box plus eggs and bread to avoid going to supermarket during lock down. Ordered on phone and collected within 1 hour. Good quality fruit & veg, not overpriced. Simon really helpful chap. Helped me to car with box (72 years old and need a walking stick) and offered to deliver in the future if needed. Also only allowing 2 customers at a time in the shop.. Very sensible. Very happy. Wish the woman in the queue outside behind me waiting their turn to go into the shop had made her son respect the social distancing!!!!”
