"My room at extended stay in Merrillville was a great experience. Sherri who is the manager has been a blessing to me and my families life since I arrived at the hotel. I thank god for her love and encouragement. She is one of the best!!!!!!❤️"
"I honestly don't know why this hotel isn't rated higher. The staff is personable, the rates are reasonable, the rooms are clean, the location is central and near a highway, it's quiet and there is a coffee and muffin type breakfast included each morning until 10am. It's not grand but it's decent for the price and unless the policy has changed, you don't have to pay taxes if you stay more than 30 days. Dishes, and other incidentals can be acquired upon request."
"Giving 2 stars simply because the sweet lady that checked us in. Without her, I would have rated zero if I could. This hotel is grungy, dark and terribly outdated. Our entire floor including our room reeked of cigarette smoke. I was ferried to even step in the elevator. This was a quick check in, sleep for 6 hours and leave for us but I couldn’t imagine being there any longer. There were dried buggers on the wall of the bathroom. Everything was yellow from the smoke. Beds seemed clean at least. Wouldn’t chance this hotel again without some major policy updates and renovations."
"Entire hotel Smells Great from the lobby to the hallways. It’s a clean environment and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The rooms are Cleaned properly. It was comforting, I enjoyed my stay. 10/10 I highly recommend this Hotel."
"We arrived to very friendly and helpful desk staff, we are here for 6 nights, our entire visit the staff have been sweet, helpful and so nice. It makes our stay much better. Anything we needed they helped out. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable. The kitchenette was a plus, especially the big fridge. So much is available just minutes away."
