"I hired trusty toolbox handyman services for a complete remodel of our rental property. I was impressed by the initial talks and all the ideas they had for the property but they turned out to be just talks. An estimate for the complete remodel was provided and an initial deposit of 30% was made on the very same day and we never saw them again. We tried multiple times to setup a meeting but all in vain. They would come at the property and work for a couple of hours and then not show up at all for weeks. 3 months passed by since we came into contract and after seeing little to no progress i questioned them for not showing up we were told that the delay is because we couldn’t finalise the paint color they asked us for. The work that has been done is of poor quality and I am having to spend more money to fix everything back up. Please make no mistake they are a handyman service just as their name suggests. They might be good at small work but i would not recommend handing them over a full property for remodelling."
"They installed a new garage door opener and overhead storage shelves. They arrived on time and stayed until they were finished. Everything looked great when they finished. Prices were reasonable. I plan to use them for more work around my house."
"Do not trust this company. Scammers!! We hired them to renovate our investment property. In first they made it sound like there’s no one like them! But everything changed after initial deposit! What they promised to do in 20 days didnt work even do the quarter of it in 4 months. We lost not just deposit but also 4 months. We should’ve been on our 2nd or 3rd property by now, DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!’n"
"Doug & David were hired to install an over-the-range microwave and ventilation through an exterior wall. This required removing a wall stud, and re-framing that portion of the wall to support the microwave mounting bracket, re-insulating and replacement of the drywall, cutting the exterior wall, installation of the outside vent cap and connection of the ductwork. They were meticulous and left the completed project area in clean condition and looking like it was part of the original home construction. I highly recommend Trusty Toolbox Handyman and would absolutely hire them for any future project(s). Bravo!"
