"We have been bringing our kids to Kumon with Ms. Shari for over 5 years. She and her staff have been excellent. She is always there to listen and gives great advice when the kids are having a tough time with the work or time management in general. I can’t think of any other Kumon to take my kids to. Kumon in general has been a great addition to the kids curriculum. It keeps them challenged and disciplined with work. It also makes test taking and school work much easier for them. Would highly recommend this Kumon branch for every child."

"Our kids have attended Kumon Merrillville for 4 years. We love the program and Mrs. Kurtz. This helps them excel in school and gives them confidence. Both kids are above their grade-level in math and reading. We started the program just to keep them learning over the summer. "My family loves this place! We started sending our 5 y/o daughter (with a summer birthday) here back in November, 2018. After two years at a pre-school, and work plans I had come up with to work on at home, we thought she was ahead in math and reading. She did her free evaluation, and we were totally taken aback by where she was and how much opportunity for improvement there was! After the free two week trial period in reading and math, she was already improving and loved her time at Kumon. She is now reading pretty independently, and is above her grade level in both math and reading! She’s even been student of-the-week and has obtained a gold certificate in math!
