"I have no choice but to leave a review on the much-acclaimed Lincoln Square Barbershop which I chose based on their amazing sounding reviews. I entered with the expectation of receiving a great haircut. Regrettably, the result was nothing short of a mess. I asked for a low taper, a request that seemed to vanish into thin air the moment the scissors touched my hair. My barber, Sam although polite, just gave me the wrong outcome.The outcome? A lopsided, uneven cut that neither aligns with the style I asked for nor any known fashion trend. The back, which should subtly graduate in length, now hosts a patch very distinct. I get my hair does not grow the most normally in the back but if I am paying for a haircut from a reputable shop I only hope I can get somewhat close to what I'm asking for. The top, meant to be left longer for versatility, was cut really short I'm left with little to style. Tapers on the sides themselves were okay for what the rest of the cut was. Would not recommend for anyone that is aware they have any kind of complexity in their hair."

"Can’t say enough good things about the Shop and Bo! I’ve been getting my hair cut with Bo for some time now. The place has a comfortable hipster vibe without being pretentious. They can be very busy as their reputation for friendly professional staff and quality hair cuts of all sorts and facial hair trims, etc. is well earned and has grown beyond Lincoln Square. That being said, their website is easy to use and you can usually get in for a service with in a day or so. You can walk-in as well but there will probably be a wait. Now to Bo. First, he’s a super good dude. Great conversations, easy going, and will listen to what you want for haircuts and beard trims. He will also offer suggestions if you’d like. seriously, I’ve gotten consistently great haircuts and beard trims from Bo. Also, he has cut my 5 year-old son’s hair many times. Again, he is very professional, warm, and patient with my son. His reputation on the Lincoln Sq. Mommy Blogs is well earned. 10/10 High Praise would recommend Lincoln Square Barber shop and Bo Culkeen"
