"I’ve know this restaurant since it’s grand opening and it has never disappointed! I cater for my large groups at work and the food always arrives on time, warm, and they never miss anything. They transport their food in multiple aluminum trays and then wrap everything in plastic. Prices are also not exaggerated. I like catering the following for my groups: Costilla de puerco en salsa verde Large tray of ceviche They have the fluffiest orange rice Large tray of beans Large tray of guisado de res."
"Let me start off by saying the service is excellent. They had one server who had all the tables and she was doing amazing! I made sure to tip her good! The restaurant was nice. They did good with the pictures on the menu. The food was awful and their menu description and price did not match what I got. I ordered a steak torta and from the bread to the meat it was burnt. The meat didn't taste like it had flavor. I got a dinner which beans and rice came with the beans were watery and the rice was more potato than rice and it had no flavor. There also was hairs on my plate. They give you complimentary chips and salsa the chips were super salty and the salsa cup was small. The salsa was pretty much just tomato juice. I definitely won't be coming back."
"First of all they had this in their menu along aside with everything mark at $14.99 . To my surprise when it was time to pay the lady tells me it’s $30 and prices range from 14.99 to $30.??! .. second I get to my job to find a lame presentation for food. False advertising and misleading prices that should be told to the customer upfront.. esto son mamadas."
"This is one of my favorite spots for authentic Mexican food. I had to bring my mom and stepdad while they were visiting to witness the greatness of El Balcón. They were amazed at how authentic the food was (even said it was better than anything they've had in Texas). Highly recommend this place for real Mexican quesadillas. The guacamole was wonderful with the right level of spice and we especially loved the "pepino preparado" -- cucumber with fresh ceviche and shrimp. Outstanding service that keeps us coming back time and time again!"
