Motel 6 Palatine, IL - Chicago Northwest

"I stayed in a smoking room. Yes they still have smoking rooms. Room very small. But the bedding had burn holes on both bed blankets. Burn holes in bathroom floor and the SHOWER wasn't a shower. For 86$ with tax a night there wasn't even a microwave. Or free breakfast nothing for the price."

"For the price, they're great. Always relatively clean (I still clean upon arrival). Some rooms need refurbishing. They have vending machines, ice, washer & and dryer, and microwave available for use. Internet works great. And they allow pets. We've stayed here twice a year for family events for a few years running and have never had an issue."

"The wonderful staff at the front desk were extremely accommodating and helpful, They always greeted me with a smile on their face and were willing to lend a hand when needed. The maids are friendly and smile, (even just in passing)and are not afraid to engage in a conversation. It’s quiet and clean and the grounds are very pretty with many many wildflower beds and seasonal decorations, and all the grounds are very well-maintained. I did have 1 problem with an air conditioner, and immediately was moved to a different room when it was found, couldn’t be fixed my way it took less than an hour for Maintenance to check the issue and I appreciated that it was extremely hot outside. The issue was taken care of immediately. So I would HIGHLY recommend this, Motel 6, even if you have to drive a few more miles bring yourself and or your family to Motel 6 in Palatine it is an absolutely wonderful place to be, I would recommend it to anybody And everybody!! Compared to other Motel 6 establishments I have stayed at the Palatine Motel 6 is a Hawaiian vacation, and I stayed at several over the years. I don’t recall having a more pleasant experience than there. Never have I dealt with more friendly, outgoing people than Palatine Motel 6. I really enjoyed my stay The overall atmosphere at the motel 6 Palatine is relaxed, cozy, and safe and secure. Not to mention it’s in a great location as there are several restaurants, Walmart, grocery stores, and several strip malls all within approximately 5-10 minutes walking distance"

"I hate to bash anyone or anything online especially because that’s not who I am however Service was pleasant but the rooms are not. They are left dirty with dead roaches on floor, hair on floor, dirt on floor, cereal in AC units, beds look like they haven’t been cleaned in years, no Fridge, no Microwave, no saftey Mat at one of their entrances towards rooms 181. Husband actually slipped and fell and we had to place a wet floor sign just in case for someone else’s safety."

"A friend and I came by to rent a room for the night. The staff, who I believe were a couple, were extremely rude and unprofessional. The man at the desk was very unhelpful when asked about the rates for the week. He also began to mock my friend’s stutter. We immediately left and found a nicer location in a different town nearby. I definitely wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a good experience at a hotel because this wouldn’t be what you’re looking for!"
