There's some nicely thought out banquets with a good variety of meals and the owner is always accommodating. It's a nice place for a quiet date or a work night out!”

“Great food, not the cheapest, but the quality was really good. Udon Noodle Soup, Chicken Katsu Curry & some Spring Rolls. All really tasty, fresh & well presented. My eldest daughter particularly enjoyed it. I suspect we'll be back before long... best to book though as it's got very limited seating. Small, but perfectly formed!”

“The lad giving service was great. We ordered Singapore Vegetable Chow Mein, Szechuan Tofu, Salt and Pepper Chips, Mushroom Foo Yung, and some sides and it came to less than £20. All the food was top notch. Great food, friendly staff, and really affordable. What more could you ask for?”

The service was quite quick although we went at a busy time so it was quick for the time we went at which was great, and most of the food came out at the same time which was perfect. “Very good authentic Chinese food. I was there with my Chinese girlfriend and some friends. She liked it, which is not always the case when we look for a good chinese dinner. Easy to find, take any of the buses going up or down Beverley Road, bus stops are nearby.”

“Excellent food, excellent service, reasonable price, the mains were a perfect size for one. The mixed starter was superb value, size and quality, and the fillet steak was excellent. They did fit us in without a booking on a Saturday night (early, just before 6) but it's not a huge place so I'd recommend booking for busy nights and times, as you may not be so lucky.”

“Fabulous Chinese restaurant. One of the only authentic Chinese restaurants in Hull. The dim sum could be expanded, however the star of the show is the noodle soups. Their rich, umami profile, keeps you coming back for more. The décor is basic, however that is of no particular importance when one takes into regard the modest prices and wide variety of Chinese dishes.”

“Tonight was the first time we have used this takeaway and the food was lovely. We had peking style ribs and special chow mein. The ribs had plenty of meat on them and they were very tender. The ingredients in the chow mein were fresh and the whole meal was very tasty and well cooked. Compared to other takeaways we have used in the local area, this was a cut above, excellent.We will use again, well done to the chef. Keep up the good work and excellent standard of food.”
