“I’ve drank Fox Friday beers heaps so it was awesome to check out the beer hall. Beers were on point as always, staff were really helpful and the guy working Wednesday PM was 10/10! Drank beers, played cards. This spot should be on your ‘to do’ list in Hobart!”

“Great concept with small bars and food offerings throughout. The open space area is great to enjoy a few drinks and small bites, with comfortable seating. Good cocktails from the various vendors and plenty of beer offerings at the bar. It was quite cool on the day we were there, so nice they had the heaters on. Great way to spend an afternoon.”

“June 2021. The Australian Italian Club of Hobart seems to have had a change in management, for the better. The last couple of events we've attended have been well patroned and the organisation great. Food at the last event was delicious, however the Arancini balls were very soft and watery. It's great to see this club seeing a revival, with both old and new members enjoying themselves.”

“We stayed at room 1221 over the weekend and it was absolutely lovely staying there. Location was close to everything. The view was amazing. Room was very good size for twin deluxe. Their shower gel and lotion smells amazing. The bathroom needed a bath mat i think to prevent slips for safety purposes.”

“Goodness me this place is awesome! Great location on Collins Street means you’re close to shopping (Cat & Fiddle Arcade) and food options (Pot Sticker Dumplings, Little India, Cafes) and easy walk around the city centre. 5 min downhill walk to the hospital (if that’s why you’re in Hobart….) Lovely and professional staff swapped our room for one with a bath and balcony and reconfigured the beds from king to 2 singles no fuss. Brought us room service water after the kitchen had closed, beautiful people. Bonus – if you stay on a Monday night the Hobart Bellringers practice at St Davids Cathedral in Macquarie Street (one street over) so that was amazing to hear. Highly recommend.”

“Incredible food! We were blown away by this little pub. Better food and service than some of the luxury restaurants. I had arguably one of the best scotch fillet steaks of my life. Definitely coming back.”

“We stayed for 3 nights and loved the apartment and the location. The apartment is very comfortable, well equipped and in a great location. Very quiet location, great views and beautiful wallaby visitors each morning and evening. Would have loved to stay longer but we had our trip planned, but it was a great start.”

“Another great addition to the Sandy Bay coffee culture. Set back off the main road, this hip new joint has plenty of space, great food and outstanding coffee. Brian is no stranger to the coffee machine, having worked at Sash over the past years. He knows the locals, remembers their names and it’s always service with a smile. This is a great spot for a takeaway or a longer stay with a book or laptop. Don’t miss it!”

“Such a hidden gem. Love this place!!! Ramen was really tasty, very rich pork bone broth, ramen was also very well cooked. Had the BBQ meat platter, everything was beyond my expectations, the dipping sauce adds sooo much flavour. Fried fish and pork dumplings were excellent too.”

“An example of some of the great eateries Hobart has on offer. Always busy, but run like clock work, by the skilled crew. Stand outs include the Baja Fish Taco, Pulled Pork Quesadilla and Fried Chicken Taco. Very satisfying.”
