“Booked in as a small bridal party group celebrating my friend's upcoming wedding. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome. The team went the extra mile and even got my friend a small gift to wish her well for her upcoming wedding- a beautiful and thoughtful touch that moved my friend. We all walked away completely floored that we had been able to create such amazing pieces of art. Will definitely be booking in again at some stage!”

“This place is something else. Amazing building with interesting history. Perfectly renovated and the rooms are immaculate. Had a very comfortable sleep every night. “The view from the room was stunning with a lovely bed and bathroom. The staff were attentive and quick. The breakfast buffet was delicious, and beautiful. If I could offer one warning, it seems like they only offer a la carte breakfast on the weekdays. To go from a virtually limitless buffet one day to an extremely limited menu the next day was jarring.”

It smelt so good the shop was easy to find what you want they have a wide variety of products. This was my first visit to the store this afternoon and my daughter and myself was served by Natalie exceptionally service.”

Take your time and linger on into the federation gardens, hear the echoes of childrens voices long silenced in the upstairs dormitory and the patter of tiny feet in the old school room. Enjoy the architecture, the antiques and explore the old kitchen and stables full of collectibles and memorabilia.”

“The store is large and expansive, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The lady at the counter took time to explain how to clean down jackets and care for our buys. Keep up the good work folks!”

“My daughter and her friends had an awesome party hosted by a Alison. She was great, she took care of the kids showing them all the activities so I could sit back and relax. The party room was spacious and everyone got a plate of food each which was more than enough. The kids loved the trampolines, rock climbing and most of all the high ropes and bridges. We all got a free entry to use for next time. I'd definitely do another party there.”

“We stayed at room 1221 over the weekend and it was absolutely lovely staying there. Location was close to everything. The view was amazing. Room was very good size for twin deluxe. Their shower gel and lotion smells amazing. The bathroom needed a bath mat i think to prevent slips for safety purposes.”

“Goodness me this place is awesome! Great location on Collins Street means you’re close to shopping (Cat & Fiddle Arcade) and food options (Pot Sticker Dumplings, Little India, Cafes) and easy walk around the city centre. 5 min downhill walk to the hospital (if that’s why you’re in Hobart….) Lovely and professional staff swapped our room for one with a bath and balcony and reconfigured the beds from king to 2 singles no fuss. Brought us room service water after the kitchen had closed, beautiful people. Bonus – if you stay on a Monday night the Hobart Bellringers practice at St Davids Cathedral in Macquarie Street (one street over) so that was amazing to hear. Highly recommend.”

“The hotel is very old and was built in 1834 by convicts. It's has a lot of character and charm. The location is perfect and is close to the city and Salamaca markets. The rooms have high ceilings and are spacious. It has a tea room and bar The service of staff is very friendly too.”

“This was my first visit to the practice and I must say I was really impressed. The staff were all so friendly, helpful and welcoming, and the practice waiting room and consulting rooms were so clean and tidy. They have also taken all the Covid regulations into account with plenty of spaced out seating and hand sanitiser stations located in many areas. All in all a very healpful, friendly and professional practice.”

“What a wonderful hotel! From check in to check out the service was amazing and the room had a beautiful lux feel. The giant adventure park next door was a big child-friendly tick. It was a bit weird that the room had no kitchen sink or dining table but other than that it was a great stay.”

“Wonderful pub/restaurant in the heart of Hobart. I went there specifically for the live music, which was awesome, but the food was also outstanding ! I highly recommend their lamb shoulder. It’s super tasty and fills you up really well ! The staff was more than friendly and made this experience memorable.”

“An excellent hotel located right in the center of downtown Hobart. It is less than 30 mins from the airport and valet parking is available (and highly recommended). The rooms are modern and spacious and very comfortable. Loved the bathroom amenities as well. The buffet breakfast is great and you have a lot of options to choose from. The staff are very friendly and ready to help with any requests you might have. All in all, I would highly recommend this hotel if you're visiting Hobart and are looking for a central location to stay!”

“Love visiting here. Various carriage shops to choose from (I especially love the lollie shop) and a great cafe to stop and recharge. Take a walk through the second-hand store while you're there, and snap up a bargain, too.”
