“We really love this place, we aim to go every week. The meals come with chips and salad which has good ole fashion beetroot, tomatoes and cheeses and a great uncomplicated dressing. My go to meal is either steak or squid rings. Whilst one kid enjoys a battered mussels meal and the other likes pan fried fish, but there are other options. Very rarely can you find a place to sit down in a clean and welcoming environment for a meal that cost only $10 each. There are kids options which a slightly cheaper either way it’s still a bargain. The staff are great and we always leave satisfied.”

“Excellent service and highly recommended! Called to order before opening time, speak politely and took my order. When i arrived, i asked to pay for a takeaway chinese tea to go with my dim sum, the lady gave a big cup of tea for free and said, "you got to enjoy your dim sum with the tea, no charge". Taste of the chicken feet and bbq bun is almost best in town! Will come back!”

“Went after a full day of training and ordered a nice as cheap and fulling meal the person at the counter was nice and polite. The wait time was short and the food was Oishi (yum) would recommend to anyone wanting good Chinese food.”

“I get it why this place has 5 star reviews. Went in recently to try it out with family. Couldn't be happier. Truly excellent dining. The food was absolutely fantastic and the service excellent. The prices were extremely reasonable too. Would definitely recommend and will definitely go back again. It's a small place so limited seating so pays to book ahead.”

“The customer service and food is always amazing here. The creativity behind the dishes always makes me want to come back and try something different. The lamb was extremely tender and juicy, it was better then the beef which surprised us. The chocolate mousse was very nice as well. Perfect way to finish off the night. If price isn't an issue for you I would highly recommend coming here for dinner.”

“Chef Logan truly creates some edible masterpieces, but the lamb rump I had the other day surpassed any protein I've had before. (Spoiled me). Same was said by my partner and friends regarding the beef wellington and pork belly.”

“Babaganush was amazing! The food was outstanding, I forgot to get a photo of our entree, it was the garlic bread and was fantastic! The kebab was HUGE. Pizza was awesome for the kids and the wife had the Iskender she was raving about it, the couscous side dish she especially enjoyed. Topped it off with baklava! Couldn’t have asked for a better night. We were able to sit outside which was a real treat in the sunshine. Do yourself a favor and eat here when I. Hamilton East!”

“We normally go with a big group of people for dinner and have the banquet it’s always fresh with plenty left over. The staff are lovely worth a visit for sure and you can BYO wine.”

“Had walked past this place a couple of times during the lockdown and promised myself I would go and try it out when it opened. The cafe itself is quite small. They are also very popular so I was lucky to get a seat. I ordered brunch, and found the staff really friendly and helpful. I ordered granola and a coffee and both were good. I liked the feel of the cafe, it was well decorated and tidy. Would definitely come back.”

“Food, service and atmosphere was great in the dinning room. A bit disappointed when we wanted to play pool, and there was a bunch on young kids (12-14 year olds) playing pool and not wanting to share. So we ended up leaving. (We were a group of 7 adults)”

“What a lovely place to go on a wet day. Nice warm fire welcoming you. We only stopped in for a drink but when we saw the food being served my husband decided he would try the mussels. A dozen served in a lovely chowder. 2 huge pieces of yum garlic bread. I had a freak Shake. It was huge and tasted so good. We will be back to try more.”

“I was extremely happy with the food quality and staff service! We got the Iguana entree share platter and the pan-seared salmon as takeaways (as we were unable to dine-in that night) and were amazed at the quality and complexity of the food! The entree platter came with BBQ pork ribs, glazed chicken wings, crispy halloumi sticks and fried calamari, along with a small portion of chilli and garlic king prawns and salad. Minute attention to details could be felt; such as crunchy, toasted peanuts garnishing the ribs, and small shrimp mixed in with the salmon's chilli coconut sauce. There was so much variety and volume in the share plate, we almost got full just off this! The manager in charge was very nice as well! We will definitely come here again to dine-in next time we’re down in Hamilton!”

“We found a decent Chinese takeaway we enjoyed it but I wouldn’t order a fried noodle if I’m going to order a chow mein because the chow mein has noodle in it anyways. I enjoyed the sweet and sour the most it wasn’t too saucy just how I like it. Expensive but would buy again once in a while if I feel like chinese :)”

“We ordered through Uber eats. Ordered Dumplings, Wontons, Lemon Chicken and Honey Chicken. Absolutely delish! The dumplings were so flavourful and fresh, the Wontons had a really extra umami about them and we're so crispy and both the lemon and honey chicken were very yummy. Even better, the prices are great! $6 for 6x Wontons and $10 for 10 dumps. Defi itely a great place for a cheap, but tasty feed!”

“We love this place it's our go to for fish n chips, Chinese ( high quality) the best in town we've been going here since 2010 easily and never had a complaint to give yet! You always get way more than you asked for ie: extra piece of fish or lots of chips the Chinese food oh my get made fresh or they have a smorgasbord . We get made fresh and the containers are packed beautiful food. We can't say enough!”

“Amazing function venue! We hired the upstairs room as a 21st venue. After some shuzshing with decorations, it turned out really pretty. The staff were so accommodating and helpful, we got them to put together a grazing table and it was A+. We were able to party the night away and everyone felt very welcome and had a great time.”
