“We did the forsaken farmhouse and it was great. Good puzzles and everything was in good condition. Didn’t catch the name but the blue haired staff member gave an amazing introduction to the room to really set the mood. Super friendly too!”

“Took a group of 17 staff and each of us were able to all be involved in different rooms without any issues or waiting. The escape rooms were awesome, they had great rooms, props and the staff were incredibly kind and informative! Would 10/10 bring our group back again!”

My daughter has been there since the centre opened and they’ve helped through so many hard phases, from toilet training to tantrums and all of the above. They’ve become a second family for my daughter and I and I would absolutely recommend people take their children here to be taken care of by the most loving and patient teachers.”

“where do I start. Fantastic staff, so neuturing, caring and attentive, not to mention, mega friendly and super welcoming. My daughter absolutely loves going there, she loves the activities and play both indoor and out, loves lunchbox day, music day and all the other cool activities and adventures that are planned for them. She is always so excited to tell me about all the cool things she has learnt/done throughout the day. This is by far the best kindy we have seen/attended and will be sad when the time comes at the end of the year for us to say goodbye as our daughter moves onto the next stage of her life”

The skipper gave us a very informative commentary and the team went above and beyond including contingency plans for bad weather, to ensure we had a special day. “My daughter's 10th birthday party was held here. The party room was fully decorated, and the Rock n Roll room they were in was fantastic, as it is both fun and challenging for all children. We all had a great time there. The staff, two lovely ladies, are fantastic! I would absolutely recommend it to my friends.”

“This playground is looking better than ever after it's renovation and number of additions including it's feature doll house. My friend kids love the new swing and slide area. Great place to bring a picnic after viewing the feature gardens with the kids. Also there room to add more if they want.”

“Our kids saw this park from the car and immediately wanted to stop and play. This is a new or renewed park, with plenty of activities to enjoy. For adults the basketball court is awesome. Well designed and decorated. There is a small bike track in the back. The flying fox is the top attraction. There are Toilets and a water fountain. Just beside Countdown, worth a visit.”

“My son attended a two-day camp recently at Lakewood Lodge. He enjoyed all activities and even though he was among the older kids at 14, there was plenty to do and he enjoyed interacting with other kids as well as the great staff. Our children have gone to Lakewood Lodge at various points in their young lives and we've always been happy that they have been in safe hands enjoying the outdoors, whether it be climbing, kayaking, horse-riding and more. We live in the Waikato so we're used to outdoor life, but what's great about this place is it takes a lot of bookings from Auckland and some of these kids have never really spent time in the country or really done cool stuff in the outdoors. Lakewood Lodge and its great staff give these kids that opportunity to do it in a safe, structured, super fun environment. Highly recommend this place for the kids - and if you want a rural-flavoured break, with as many or little activities as you want lined up as a group of adults, they cover that off too. Great spot!”

“Went to leap on Friday for a school trip and it was lots of fun. The staff were amazing and the kids had lots of fun. They have leap socks available to buy or hire. It was clean and tidy and they had ice packs available if needed.”

“Amazing place!! We ordered the toasted sandwiches, hot chocolate and coffee, and everything was absolutely delicious! The egg bacon sandwich was my favourite. The outdoor seating area is sunny and beautiful, which made the meal even better! The staff was very helpful and the service was really quick, despite the busy time. Its a perfect place for breakfast or brunch. There is ample space for parking and the location is great, with lot of seating area, both outdoors and indoors.”
