Staff are caring and attentive. If you want your child being looked after in an exceptionally safe and caring environment, Newstead Country Preschool is the place I recommend. The teachers here have put a lot of work into making such a welcoming space and I love the rhythm and rituals thats been incorporated into the flow of each day. So many different areas of play to choose from that inspire children's imaginations and a big beautiful outdoor area as well. Absolutely recommend :)”

“Our kids saw this park from the car and immediately wanted to stop and play. This is a new or renewed park, with plenty of activities to enjoy. For adults the basketball court is awesome. Well designed and decorated. There is a small bike track in the back. The flying fox is the top attraction. There are Toilets and a water fountain. Just beside Countdown, worth a visit.”

“Two great cycling tracks for all ages (3 years to 93 years) Besides the cycling tracks, you will also find a great play area (partially covered) for the youngsters. 2 Tramps, 2 swings, a tight rope and much more. Heaps of parking - Bring the family! A Water fountain and toilets are there too. Enjoy the fun.”

“very fantastic park. lots of creativity when this was designed and it is such a blast when i went there. the pools are very relaxing and so is the slide. also there is a view to the waikato river which i suggest you should see.”

“Went to leap on Friday for a school trip and it was lots of fun. The staff were amazing and the kids had lots of fun. They have leap socks available to buy or hire. It was clean and tidy and they had ice packs available if needed.”

“Amazing place!! We ordered the toasted sandwiches, hot chocolate and coffee, and everything was absolutely delicious! The egg bacon sandwich was my favourite. The outdoor seating area is sunny and beautiful, which made the meal even better! The staff was very helpful and the service was really quick, despite the busy time. Its a perfect place for breakfast or brunch. There is ample space for parking and the location is great, with lot of seating area, both outdoors and indoors.”

“Great swimming facilities, and my grandson really loves the blow-up 'obstacle course'. Staff are great, always friendly and welcoming.. Change rooms clean and tidy.. While the indoor main pool (in my opinion) could be a tad warmer it isn't that cold that you can't adjust to the temperature, and once you do, it's all good.”

“Nice store layout, good opening times and quite clean/tidy. This store has alot of parking avaliable and alot of home/gift items, clothing, bathroom, etc. All ready for your convenience at competitive pricing”

“Shout out to the lady with short hair and a black cap who is a gem in true customer service! After a little while of waiting for one missing item of our order, I returned to the counter to ask. There was a bit of confusion in the beginning but the lady did not hesitate to rectify the situation without excuses or complaints. Thank you for the special drink! Clean equipment and premises, seemed well looked after, air conditioned at the right temperature, friendly staff who were very attentive even on the playground, good variety of activities for the kids. Parents are allowed to supervise their children on the equipment. Food was good, I would ask for less salt on the fries next time. Only downside is the price tag with $19.90 for 2+yo which would make this rather a special occasion than a regular outing. Remember to bring their socks for the kids, otherwise you have to purchase a pair for $2.50. Adults are allowed to wear their own normal socks.”

“Nice, clean, and comfortable movie theatres, and comes in both recliner and ordinary seats. Spacious waiting areas with comfy seats as well. Food and beverage are a bit expensive, but it's expected at every cinema. Very convenient location in town, and is close to everything. It comes with free parking at Centre Place for every movie ticket purchase. Parking ticket just needs to be validated by one of the staff.”
