"I've been taking my children to Homegrown Dental for years and have always been extremely happy with their service. But today was exceptional! There was a slight hiccup with our appointment getting cancelled, which initially left me quite worried about my child's treatment. Just when I started to feel a bit flustered, the wonderful office manager, Ms. Haley, stepped in. She not only calmed my nerves but also went above and beyond to ensure we were rescheduled within an hour. Her exceptional service and the comforting atmosphere she provided were truly appreciated. "I switched here from Dental for kids because I felt they were over doing it. This place is no different if your child is on Medicaid. It seems no matter the dentist, if your child is on Medicaid all they try to do are unnecessary procedures. This place did a filling on a “pre cavity” tooth on my child and I knew it was not necessary but they kept insisting it gets done. I thought she was getting a cleaning. My gut told me don’t do it but then I would’ve been hit with cancellation fees. In the mist, our insurance changed. I believe had they updated our insurance they wouldn’t had pushed us for filling, because Medicaid pays for everything. My recommendation to the practice is stop forcing patients to unnecessary procedures. And parents don’t get sucked in like I did thinking its “mandatory” all the time. Eventually, the baby teeth they find these small cavities in will come out. Instead get a second opinion. Healthcare is a corporate business, and many practices don’t have our best interests."

"My son has been going to Homegrown Pediatric Dentistry since he was one years old; he is now seven. Unlike my horrifying childhood dentistry experience where I dreaded to go, my son looks forward to going to the dentist without anxiety. Homegrown provides thorough and excellent service, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the environment is warm, kid friendly and welcoming to all. My son got his first major dental procedure due to cavities at four and the process was smooth and painless. The staff always answers my questions and give me advice and recommendations on how to keep my son’s teeth healthy. My son looks forward to getting his new toothbrush and the “Gold coin” for the toy vending machine. As a parent, I love Homegrown because the allow me the option to go to the back with my son even though my son stopped wanting me go with him at the age of 3, so I just wait in the waiting room. Which shows how familiar and comfortable he is with the staff and facility. We love Dr. Mc Keller and her staff.
