Baymont by Wyndham Savannah/Garden City

"It is close to the airport and close to places we wanted to go. The room was clean and their free breakfast is decent. I made reservations for 3 rooms and specifically requested a 1st floor for me in case of emergency as my knees are bad. I arrived ahead of time that night and when I checked in, the man in reception gave me a room on the 2nd floor and the other 2 on the 1st floor and he was not flexible at all !☹️ the following morning 2 ladies attended the reception and both (one of them, manager) was willing to transfer me to the 1st floor but I didn't want the hassle of packing and unpacking"

"I have never been into this hotel and will never be. They charged fraudulent transaction into my credit card. I booked 6 rooms for Feb 2nd-4th with free cancellation until Feb 1st. I booked on Jan 4th, but after reading all the bad reviews my friends does not want to stay in this hotel. I cancelled immediately the following day Jan 5th all of my reservations. On Jan 9th Baymont charged my account for 2 rooms. My bank called me to confirm this fraudulent transaction and immediately change my credit card. What a mess!!"

"I ended up needing to leave early due to a family emergency. I asked to cancel the reservation for the following night, 22 hours in advance. The location management refused to refund me. Even after the Wyndham company customer service requested they help with the refund, due to the unpredictable family situation. The lack of understanding and sympathy from the staff at the location was very disappointing. In addition, there was a cockroach in my room and blood on the shower curtain in the bathroom."

"Arrived at hotel after driving 4 hours just after noon. 1 car in parking lot yet person at front desk wanted to charge $25 to check in early before 4:00 pm checking time. Clearly rooms should have been ready as the hotel was empty. Also had to wait 15 minutes while the front desk served another person who left in the middle of checkin. Breakfast was simple and good with a small menu typical of the empty hotel."

"Unfortunately it was disappointing in several ways. First of all, Joshua was amazing in taking care of us the first evening when we arrived. His service was exceptional. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and polite. When we got to the room we realized there were issues. The next morning we realized the refrigerator was really dirty, one of the outlets near the nightstand was literally falling out of the wall. The carpet was dingy and the air conditioner was set at a certain temperature so you could not change it to cool down to what you would feel is comfortable. There was a TV in the sitting area that was so small I compared to being not much bigger than my cell phone, lol. Not sure why they would waste money on that small TV when they could put it towards cleaning and or updating the room. My Husband called to get the refrigerator cleaned expressing we did not want them coming in after we left for the day. He was told they're on their way. When they didn't show up in a timely manner we decided we had to leave, after all we were there on vacation... he called the front desk back and told them to just forget it. They never reached back out about the cleaning refrigerator. The service at the front desk excluding Joshua was less than Steeler. Unfortunately we will not be staying there again."
