"Clam to have upgraded parts and in all reality it's just same as factory and even better it was installed incorrectly. Didn't fail until after warranty expired. And when contacting to resolve the issue they will just give you the run around. And blow you off. I personally didn't purchase the transmission but after tearing it down for a customer and seeing the lies I feel it is necessary so others don't make the same mistake and give their hard earned money to this scam of a company. DO BETTER!"

"We Purchased a transmission for my 2016 GMC Yukon. One we recieved it my father and husband installed it. We never moved the vehicle and had it towed to a chevy dealership to have it all programmed like they Maddog told us to. Once it was all programmed The Mechanic took it for a test drive and said something was wrong with it. After looking into it he found the pump INSIDE the new transmission was bad causing it not to work correctly and to overheat. We contacted Maddog and they told us the pump being broke was our fault and they would not stand behind their warranty. Our mechanic even talked to them and told them there was no way that we could have broke the pump since it's internal. They even argued with the mechanic. We ended up having to buy a new pump and had a transmission tech install it only to find RUST SCRAPES AND GOUGES out of the Pump and in the Torque Converter which we were told were new with the transmission. We have now had to replace the Torque Converter and the pump plus $600 in fluid because of this. They DO NOT STAND behind their warranty and they will blame you for anything being wrong even though when taken apart it clearly shows it was not our wrong doing. UPDATE! We took it back to our transmission guy and they are now saying we have a bad transmission. Clutch gears 4,5,6 were installed improperly and it will not shift into those gears. we have had to drop almost $3000 extra into this Transmission just to have it not be rebuilt right and us start all over again! ABSOLUTELY NOT OK!"

"I had the pleasure of having having this company work on Chevy Tahoe. They had the whole transmission rebuilt in 3 days and ready for pick up. Best customer service I've ever had. Even the receptionist was perfect in every way. She was very knowledgeable, and she always kept me informed day by day. I'd recommend them them to anyone. I was also given some mad dog merchandise. It's the little things that go a long way for me."

"I had Mad Dog rebuild the transmission in my 1985 Mercury Grand Marquis in October of 2022. I found everyone there to be very knowledgeable and professional. They explained the process and delivered on everything they promised. Since the rebuild the car runs like a dream. I drove the car a few days ago and noticed that there was a small amount of trans fluid on the garage floor. I am close to the shop so I drove over there to let them have a look. I had no appointment and showed up unannounced. Their response blew me away, they immediately has a technician look under the car and in 5 more minutes it was on the lift and two techs were inspecting where the fluid was coming from. The ordered the parts that were leaking while I was there and even said if I wanted to leave it they would do it tomorrow - a Saturday! Now that is IMPRESSIVE! A small seal failed and they took care of it ASAP - no questions asked and certainly not their fault at all. It is unfortunate that there are so many comments that are not consistent at all at the way you and your car will be treated. I was treated exceptionally well and the shop is top notch. 5 stars for sure!"
