Hilton Garden Inn Jacksonville Orange Park

"We have stayed at this hotel numerous times in the past two years. We have always had wonderful service and the front desk, bartender and breakfast servers have always gone above and beyond their service. The rooms have always been clean and the food and bar service has been delicious, and everyone seems to have a smile on their face. The hotel has always been extra accomodating to us and we are always eager to stay on our next visit to the Jacksonville area."

"Decent hotel for business travelers On-site bar and restaurant. Buffalo wings were really good. Decent wifi. Service was great, nice people working there. Road construction nearby but still easy to access. Decent location."

"I've had several stays at this Hilton and always had a good experience till my most recent trip. The carpets in the room were wet. Like, had to lay towels down, and those eventually got damp to, so I had to ask for more towels. Pretty much, had to keep my shoes on at all times. I specifically booked this hotel for the hot tub, with the full intention of utilizing the amenities. Both the pool and hot tub were out of commission. I was told I could use the hot tub at the neighboring sister property. So I walked over, only to be told, they don't have a hot tub. They laughed saying, they sent people over to hitlon because they don't have one and they know that. And they laughed. But it wasn't really funny. More disappointing than anything. When I walked back to the Hilton, they just said sorry. And told me next I booked to specifically ask if its working. So I went back to my room to do a self care day. The shampoo and conditioner in the room were empty. There was hair in the shower. Not enough towels cause they were on the floor. In the morning, I went to get a cup of juice before heading out to do some errands really quick. I was stopped and told I needed to show my ID, and confirm my room with the front desk to make sure i was a guest. I told her I had prepaid for the breakfast with my room. She said she needed proof. There were people everywhere, and they all stopped and were watching while this woman is pretty much acting like, I was lying to her. I had a bag over my shoulder and another bag in one hand. So, fetching my wallet would have meant putting my bags down, with an audience.... I threw the cup away, and didn't have juice... and decided to not get breakfast at all, due to feeling very uncomfortable. Waste of my money. I went to the waffle house next door. Over all, just, was not a good experience, especially for the cost,and lack of amenities and hospitality."

"Room was amazing for the most part. Bath tub had a bit of stains in it, seemed clean though. When I arrived at 3pm there were tons of people in the lobby and no rooms available yet that were clean. The front desk receptionist handled it amazingly, she got me water and WiFi and offered us other accommodations while waiting in the lobby. The elevator smelled horrible every single time I stepped into it, for this reason, I never want to go back. The elevator also kept deselecting/forgetting my selection when I pressed/selected a button. I hated those elevators. Breakfast food was wonderful, especially the biscuits and gravy, loved them, the second day I got charged way more for breakfast than I should have for some reason on my room bill even though my table receipt was fine, check out receptionist helped fix it, I blame the lady doing breakfast that morning."

"Very clean, good breakfast and location! I do think it’s odd that housekeeping doesn’t come to the room daily. At the very least, housekeeping should come to take the trash out daily. When I went to the front desk to request trash service and more towels, the front desk told me that they don’t deliver towels and I had to bring them up to my room. She also asked if I had left the trash outside my door so housekeeping could take it. I was obviously leaving the hotel at the time and didn’t have time to bring up towels to my room and take my trash out after she informed me. There was nothing to indicate that I was supposed to bring up my own towels or leave my trash outside my door. I know I sound entitled but what happened to daily service and housekeeping doing these things? Why am I paying so much money for half of the services? The Marriott stills offers this; it just seems like a bad business model."
