"Loved the experience! Only stayed one night. Friendly check in process with room available right away. Spacious rooms were a bit dated but right on the river. Beautiful courtyard and other interesting buildings & decor on the grounds. We didn’t pack fancy enough to eat at the clubhouse for dinner so we ordered from a local restaurant and had the food delivered to The River House Pub nextdoor/on the grounds. RHP is a bar only - no food - lively spot that we really enjoyed. It was Halloween weekend and the regulars were in costume. It was a lot of fun!"

"This was a pretty place. The staff were nice, the room was HUGE and nice as well. The back balcony of the room faced the river, which was a great view but there is a happening bar right next door that is pretty loud. I figured I would go have a drink because it sounded like people were having fun, but it is a private club so that didn’t happen. I got free breakfast every morning that was fantastic. Full cooked breakfast, not just bagels and cereal! The grounds are very pretty so I walked around and took pictures. Unfortunately the hotel is linked to a private condo community that is hard to see where one ends and the other begins. There was a VERY rude man that quickly told me to leave the private condo area. They are obviously not happy about the hotel being there?? There weren’t many things to do, places to eat or things to see in this area, which was ok for me as I was wanting to just relax. I would have liked to have that bar open to me though next door. The only bad thing that pretty much ruined my love of this place and the reason I won’t be back: the bed was so hard that I couldn’t sleep and everything hurt art the couple days I spent at the hotel. Bummer."

"We got married at the Club Continental in June 2023 and it was an amazing experience! As a local wedding vendor, I have worked at most venues in the Northeast Florida area, and Club Continental is the best of the best! It feels like a hidden gem and the best kept secret of Orange Park. The venue is a perfect mix of romantic, elegant, historic charm and the location right on the river is picturesque in the best ways. The outside is stunning with the arch windows, ivy vines on the walls, and of course the iconic garden entryway. The rooms are older, but understandably so as it is a 100 year old historic building, and we still found them to be very comfortable and added greatly to the charm. The entire staff was so kind and friendly, especially Carla, the event manager, who always answered my (many) questions and emails with a smile and positive attitude, and the actual event staff on the day of the wedding. The food and drinks were both great. I would recommend this venue to anyone looking for an absolutely beautiful, charming venue that your guests will rave about and will give you an amazing experience! (Photos by Love Flora and Fauna)"
