"Quality meats n cheeses, correct ingredient ratios, great buns from Tasty Pastry, and pickled cherry peppers that are my favorite pickled peppers made these the best cold cut grinders I've had in Tallahassee since moving here in late 2005. (Grinders are like subs only better.) Staff were helpful and friendly. You might be put off by prices compared to other sub places but these are not dinky little sandwiches and we got more than our money's worth."

"Local yokel family-owned hole-in-the-wall. I have enjoyed their delicious and rather large sandwiches on other occasions but I found myself suddenly in need of a Cuban sandwich on National Cuban Sandwich Day, thanks to the local newspaper's reporting. However, the Cuban sandwich I ordered and desired was not a Cuban Sandwich as delivered but rather, a ham sandwich dressed as Cuban. Shame on the Tallahassee Democrat for spreading lies and conspiracies."
"These guys know the deal! Great attitudes across the board. Fiance got the salad and they hand chop every ingredient, looks better than any restaurant salad. I went for the Italian 8", absolutely packed with fresh bright ingredients, meat sliced per order. If you are from FL and know LaSpadas or have tried OG subs in Tallahassee you already know what your going to get at HeluvaSub and it's amazing. Support local, shop small"
"This place lives up to it’s name because the Italian sub I ordered was huge! I made two meals out of it. They are not stingy with the toppings and they put plenty of meat in the sub. Did I mention it was delicious? Because it was! Everyone behind the counter was very friendly as well. I will definitely be returning!"
