"As w/all the motels in this area, they are updated, but some areas are showing their age. Ours had a kitchen/living room & a separate bedroom. Good location- short walk to beach or grocery& drugstore."

"Pictures don’t do this quirky little place justice. It’s true that the motel is older but the rooms are very nice with new furniture and the pool was pristine. The hotel manager, Ami, was beyond helpful and kind. We loved her personality and sense of humor. They had a selection of beach chairs, books, toys, and floaties that you are welcome to use/take to the beach which is only a 2 block walk away. Our room had a full kitchen & living room which was great to have since our toddler was with us. Located one block away from Publix, Coffee Shop, Dollar Tree, CVS, and a Liquor Store and about .25 miles from the strip with all the bars, restaurants, and entertainment. Everything we needed was walking distance so no need to rent a car. It’s the perfect place to stay if you’re looking for low key Austin, TX vibes. We pretty much had the pool to ourselves even though they were fully booked. The rooms were very clean and spacious. We will definitely be staying here again. Thanks Ami!!!"

"Parking was convenient. Rooms were very spacious and clean. Employees were polite and friendly. Pool area was great. Had rafts for you to use. Plenty of lounges and chairs. We had stayed there 20 years earlier and they had kept up with the hotel, painting, repairs and cleaning."

"Amy (i know that's not the spelling) and her staff are GREAT! She went above and beyond to help out a guest in an embarrassing situation!! ;) The rooms are clean and cold. The beds are very comfortable. The pool is pristine with plenty of loungers and tables. The location is right in the middle of everything. The only thing I found needs improvement is the bathroom size. There is no vanity to put toiletries on. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and if we visit Lauderdale by the Sea again, we will stay here!! Thanks for a wonderful vacation."

"We rented a car but really didn’t need to as the location is fantastic. You’re close to coffee shops and Publix, as well as restaurants and bars. Beach access is right across the street. The property and pool are super clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. This is a no frills motel, but if you’re looking for clean and comfy while on a budget, this place is for you. Will be back!"
