The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island

"My wife and I booked a room at the Ritz Carlton Amelia Island to spend New Year's Eve and attend the Black and White Gala. We have been going to this particular Ritz Carlton for the better part of 22 years. This was our first visit since before COVID. The hotel is totally renovated and reinvigorated. The standard and quality of service expected has surpassed anything in the past. The room was beautiful and the events were amazing. We definitely got our money's worth out of our visit. The customer service was impeccable. The food was what you expect of a five star hotel. Thank you for a great New Year's Eve Ritz Carlton."

"I went here with family for a vacation. The service was excellent, however rooms and quality of the resort was very lacking. This hotel is outdated all over. The quality of our beds was awful. We had queen beds but the mattress toppers were for a full size bed and they were lumpy - the mattress had a visible slant. I’ve never been so excited to leave a hotel bed and sleep at home. The gym is decent sized for a hotel but like I said it is very out of date. The restaurants (excluding Salt, as we did not eat there) at the hotel had great servers, very attentive. The food was lacking though. Very bland. Overpriced frozen entrees. There is bingo on Tuesday and trivia on Wednesday at the hotel which was fun."

"My daughter and ate at the bar. The lobby area and bar are beautiful. Chic and well designed. Staff were incredibly attentive. We sat for a few minutes in a chair and had someone came over to us asking if we needed anything. We said we were going to the bar and they immediately got us a menu. At the bar we ordered food and drinks. Service-5 stars. Drinks were reasonably priced and strong. Bartender definitely knew how to make drinks! Food -5 stars. We ordered sushi. It was super fresh. Definitely worth the money and we will revisit on our next visit."

"We recently celebrated our baby moon here and had an absolute amazing time. Our room was amazing, the staff was very friendly and the food was excellent. Steven helped us get into our room which was very nice and Anthony our waiter at SALT was top class. We will definitely be coming back. The golf course is also very nice."

"I love this property. The staff are incredible. When checking in, they literally handed us glasses of champagne and another full bottle of champagne to take up stairs for free. What a welcome! The hotel is beautiful. The pool is great. The food is pretty good. I can’t wait to go back."
