"This is a high end building with great residents and a terrific management team and front-desk staff. I find them to be professional and courteous. When I had an issue with a defect in my unit, the builder and management staff went to extra lengths to make sure it was resolved, though it was no fault of theirs."

I went in the other day to take a look at the grounds and tour a unit. Everything was very clean, and all my questions were answered. Melanie and everyone working there was friendly and helpful. "The only positive thing about the apartments is the location since it's close to a lot of places. However, we are disappointed with our overall experience here. When we moved in there was clearly no walk-through done of our unit since our fridge, washer/dryer, and garbage disposal were all broken. Our back patio door didn’t have a functioning lock (mind you we were on the first floor + they didn’t fix it until 3 days after we called - so that is a big safety issue), and our water wouldn't get hot in the shower. Beware of living on a lower floor because you can hear every step your neighbor takes above you and we were unable to have any sense of peace from the constant stomping above us. The demographic is mainly college students and multiple units The Gray hosts on airbnb, so as a newly married couple - we were constantly on edge and anxious to be in our own home. Management did reach out to give a few warnings to the neighbors, however, I understand that the construction of the building is out of their control. They promised a dog park was coming when we toured the apartment and gave multiple construction dates that were untrue. Within the 8 months we lived there the dog park was never even started. Gym is dirty with old equipment and the filter for the water wasn’t ever changed since it was still indicating red for months. Outside hallways look like they are years old, so they could use better upkeep. We had silverfish in our apartment consistently. Packages were just left outside (on the ground) of parcel lockers, so I had to make sure to pickup packages ASAP once delivered so they wouldn't get stolen. When we finally did break our lease to move into a house, there were ridiculous fees associated including paying to repaint the apartment, and paying for the cleaning fee, which should be happening regardless when a tenant moves out. I mistakenly left a small coffee machine and instead of contacting me, they threw it out and charged me a fee for leaving appliances. I’ve never had a property management company just try to get the most money possible on a move-out when the unit wasn't even up to par when we moved in."
