Philippe Park
Philippe Park, located at 2525 Philippe Parkway in Safety Harbor, Florida, is a historic 92-acre park and tourist attraction. This park is the oldest in Pinellas County and features majestic shade trees and a Native American mound built by the Tocobaga tribe, known as the Temple Mound. The park is listed in the National Register of Historic Landmarks and offers a beautiful outdoor experience for visitors. Unfortunately, the construction of a new playground at Philippe Park has been postponed, but the current playground remains open for visitors to enjoy. The park is open 7 days a week from 7 a.m. to sunset, except for the day after Thanksgiving and December 25 when the county parks are closed.

Fort De Soto County Park, located at 3500 Pinellas Bayway South in Tierra Verde, Florida, is a campground, lodging, and park all in one. The park also has historical significance, with a 12-inch mortar battery listed in the National Register of Historic Places and British breech-loading rifles from the 1890s on display.
