"Last year I was pulled over due to the fact that this agency did not report that I started coverage with them on my wife's policy. My license was suspended and my insurance rate jumped over $1000. They claimed responsibility after this incident and did nothing to resolve the issue. My vehicle was almost impounded and I lost a full work day to resolve this issue at the DMV. After this event, I contacted the office (Deborah Roland, and her incompetent secretary - Yulee Branch, now Fernandina) and they had no accountability. After contacting them, they promised to call back that day. We received no contact back about the issues that we are having with this company. There is no corporate customer service number. One year later they decided to tell me the reason that my rate was so high was due to my suspension, which was their fault. I have home insurance with this firm, and I am worried due to their negligence, what would happen to my home in a disaster. There is no communication from this office even when I brought up this serious issue. If you truly value you property and vehicles, it may be best to stray away from this agency. If you want a budget insurance agency that could care less about your needs, they will welcome you as much as they did my family. This is a disgusting way to sink your money into an agency that does not value your concern or well being. Edit: 7/2019 Finally departed from this disgusting practice this month with a much better policy from a reputable competitor. They cancelled our home insurance out of the blue a couple months ago (separate from the auto), no doubt from this review. Deborah Roland quickly called me after posting the original review frantic stating that she "did her best" and "I'm not allowed call the Florida DMV to fix it" - when I called Tallahassee DMV, they said agents are allowed to communicate in part of the consumer - bold laziness and lying again. I have filed a meaningless request to the state regarding the incident, but of course it will just be a slap on the wrist and a mark against them. The best I can do is to post this experience and hope that another consumer walks away from their "great deal" so they cannot hurt another family. Do your research, to good to be true should be the motto of Florida Farm Bureau."
