"My visit was to receive menopausal hormone replacement therapy. After speaking with a lovely medical assistant who communicated via 'Slack' or similar messaging system with the medical director, I was informed injectable testosterone wasn't an available option for cisgender women in menopause. The medical director even told the medical assistant to tell me testosterone replacement wasn't recommended by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecologists (ACOG) which isn't true -- they say the patient and doctor need to evaluate the risks and benefits and prescribe accordingly -- and that no studies have shown benefits for women taking it in menopause. I asked the medical assistant what studies have been conducted showing the safety of testosterone in biological women transitioning to men. Of course, she didn't have an answer for that but did acknowledge that they need to take better care of their cisgender women and not just those transitioning. What kind of hypocritical nonsense is this? Do better Planned Parenthood."

"I recently had an incredibly positive experience at Planned Parenthood, and I wanted to share my story to help others who might be in a similar situation. For years, I struggled with difficulty in seeking care to remove my Nexplanon implant. Planned Parenthood understood my anxiety and allowed me to wait for my boyfriend to join me from work for emotional support. This simple act of compassion meant the world to me and alleviated much of my apprehension. The Planned Parenthood staff thoroughly explained the removal process, step by step, which helped ease my nerves. They took the time to ensure I understood what was happening and why. This level of communication and transparency was something I had rarely experienced in previous healthcare settings. During the procedure, they not only successfully distracted me but also made the incision with such skill and precision that it absolutely blew my mind. Furthermore, when it came to discussing birth control options, the doctors and staff at Planned Parenthood were incredibly understanding and respectful. I didn't feel pressured into making a choice, and for once in my life, I felt like my voice and preferences truly mattered. They provided comprehensive information, allowing me to make an informed decision that was right for me. After the procedure, the doctors even went the extra mile by directing me to a delicious bakery nearby, suggesting I "reward myself." I found this gesture not only adorable but also incredibly kind, making the whole experience even more memorable. I cannot recommend Planned Parenthood enough. Their genuine care, compassion, and commitment to patient comfort are truly remarkable. They provided a safe and supportive environment during a time when I needed it the most. If you're looking for a healthcare facility that values your well-being and respects your choices, look no further than Planned Parenthood. They are a lifeline for reproductive health, and I'm immensely grateful for their outstanding care."

"I came here because I could feel a large mass in my lower abdominal area. The doctor never did an exam and told me that it was in my intestines and I was at the wrong doctor. I went to another place and it turns out I have a 15cm ovarian cyst. I paid 90 dollars for an exam that i never received from planned parenthood. They made me feel like I was stupid for even coming here. When all along it was a problem they could have treated. My treatment was set back over a month because I have had to go other places. And why did I still have to pay?"

"I had accidentally gone to the st. Petersburg planned parent hood instead of the one in Tampa. Intead of me having to reschedule my appointment, they were willing to work with me. They immediately scheduled a teledoc appointment. For the same time as I was supposed to be at the Tampa clinic. I was able to get what I needed at that clinic. I am very happy I went to this clinic. They are very friendly. And I was in and out in about 30 minutes from the start of my appointment to the end of it. Will be returning to this location"
