"Honest review based off experience and not emotion: we just had our wedding at this country club on Saturday May 6th with our friends and family. The venue itself is pretty. There is a gazebo and pier for pictures and they let you take a golf cart down to these two places, which is nice. We had the ceremony and reception all in the same room, so it was super convenient for everyone. There is a bar there to provide drinks and they serve dinner. However, we bought the champagne toast for everyone, but the servers don't poor the champagne for the guests, only the bride and groom. Which is fine, we (and our guests) just had no idea the champagne was sitting there on the table for them. Otherwise we would have told our guests, hey... this champagne is for you when the toasts are being made. In addition, there was no staff to cut the cake for the guests. We had to ask the bar tender for help with that. Which by the way, the bar tender that night should be the owner of this place. He was hands down outstanding! Anyway, not to focus on the negative, but my new husband and I, and our family who helped us plan our wedding were not too pleased with Jacque, the owner of the club. I mean the first thing he did when I said hi to him on the day of, was yell at me about how the DJ didn't close the door properly and that it's 100 degrees in there because of that. Ummm what just happened? Fix your entry door to open properly and don't yell at the bride on her wedding day. The website isnt updated. It said to rent the venue for 4 hours is $1250, but he charged us $1950. He also tried to add on to the bill without us realizing it. He made us feel like we were a hassle to deal with, but we honestly were really good about things, and not demanding or anything. It seems like he just wants to collect money and not put in any effort. There were a lot of promises made to us that never happened. He said he would provide an Arch, but when we set it up the evening before (which we had to set up and buy all the decor ourselves, so you are aware when planning your wedding) it was destroyed and he texted us at 11pm the night before the wedding saying sorry about that. Luckily we were able to buy an Arch on Amazon and have it over nighted! He just disappeared on us too and left us to orchestrate the wedding ourselves. His communication is beyond atrocious. He tells us one thing, then when we get there, the staff has no idea what's going on. He is extremely difficult to work with. The one server lady said he's on meds. Just a very bizzare guy. We want to let anyone who is interested in this venue for their wedding know what to expect. Be cautious with him, but other than that, we all had a wonderful time and it was a great wedding!! Also, if you do have your wedding here... make sure someone opens both of the French doors. There's no reason why my dad couldn't properly walk me down the aisle (see pictures). We could have walked side by side, but booth doors weren't propped up own. If I wasn't the bride getting ready to get married, I would have done it myself... just like we had to do and explain evening else. There were a bunch of other things that we didn't like about this place, how it is run out the employees, but I can't remember all of it. Hopefully it will be under new management soon and more people will have better weddings here!"

"I like the course. It’s a fun one to practice short and intermediate game. However the last time we were there the greenskeeper treated us like total scum. I’ve been a manager for over 30 years and if one of my employees ever spoke to one of our customers the way he did they would definitely be reprimanded. It’s only the third time ever playing here so I don’t know it like the back of my hand and typically on hole 1 I will pull my drive but today I pushed one way to the opposite side of the hole . I went to the ball and hit and as I was driving to the green I didn’t see the two tiny signs that said no carts and it was early in the am around 8:45 and I’m still drinking my coffee to wake up. So I crossed over the signs by about 5 yards not touching the green or anything just lidos over the line by a carts length and then parked where u are supposed to. The greenskeeper rushed out to the hole and immediately starts going into my cousin who wasn’t even driving “if you ever F’ing do that again you are outta here “ said the greenskeeper and he continued on for 5 minutes arguing with my cousin over who is 35 years old and he was speaking to him like he was 13. It started to get heated so I walked over to diffuse the situation and said sir I was the driver it was an honest mistake it won’t happen again. His face was flush red and he kept yelling at my cousin and threatened him to kick him out for good and was totally unprofessional. He was like “keep running your mouth “ to my cousin. It was ugly . If I hadn’t walked over to diffuse the situation it would’ve been even worse but I handle irate customers or upset staff from time to time and know how to change the temperature of the environment. What should have happened is he should have approached us immediately after we finished the hole and said “gentleman can I speak to you for a moment? I notice you just rolled over the No carts area back there by a few yards and that’s a big concern, I know it’s not the green but we still can’t have that as it can damage the grass” to which I would’ve replied “oh man, I’m so sorry sir i honestly didn’t even see the little sign and the front 3 holes are kind of confusing as they all touch each other and it’s hard to tell where one starts and the other begins but I will definitely pay more attention and it won’t happen again . To which he would’ve said “thank you sir , have a good round just be really careful next time and if it happens again there can be repercussions “ .. I would reply “I completely understand sir it truly was just a mistake we never do that !” but no he yelled at us , talked down to us and threatened us. I would be willing to bet if it was 2 65 year old ladies that accidentally did the same his demeanor would not be like that towards them. We are male and look younger so he feels he can speak to us however he wants and I’m at 45 year old man . He definitely need’s reprimanded for his behavior but you know nothing will happen and they will just blame the customer and if I had to guess the greenskeeper would just lie about what truly happened. Learn people skills and treat all your customers the same in the future because that was unacceptable! The course itself is ok , it’s priced well for what it is not the best not the worst but the service was a 0."

"How do I describe this place? It's incredible!! The people, the staff, the owners are all very welcoming. Jacques, Sean, Lori, Alison, Tina, Dan ... I know I'm missing several I don't know everybody, yet! The venue is casual, come as you are. There is always a smile, a great cocktail and amazing food waiting for you. If you haven't checked out this gem yet you must! You will not be disappointed."

"Beautiful Setting! Spectacular sunsets. Wonderful friendly staff. Food is okay at best. The ‘Cook” has a very limited menu on special activities nights which is reasonably priced. We would prefer to chose from the regular menu. It seems that the cook is not up for a challenge. My friends and I enjoy playing Trivia on Wednesday evening. We used to play Bingo on Thursday night but the owner (Jock) likes to talk to much about himself. He jokingly calls the numbers out wrong. Like “Twenty...........Two)"
