"Stood at walk-up order took 50 minutes to make 2 burgers and 2 fries. One employee stood around texting on the phone while others worked. Burgers were soggy, and fries were cold. This was my first and probably last visit. Had interesting conversations with other customers. We started to walk across the street and get pizza to snack on while waiting. Praise the Lord!"
"I have been going to this Checkers for almost 6 years. I have never had a bad experience. Food is always right, hot and tastes great and every employee I have met is respectful. It always so quick to get food too. Even when the line is out on 10th, it still moves quick. I have visited during lunch, dinner and late night and have never had a problem. Surprising because I won't go to other Checkers locations and I live in Bradenton, close to Sarasota."
"1st time at Checkers. (Palmetto) Waited over 10 minutes at the walk up order window. No one acknowledged we were standing there. Knocked on window, the employee said he couldn’t take our order. Didn’t know how to run the register. The employee who did, walked by 4-5 times. Never even looked at us. Manager came out. She never even looked at us either. Cars that got in the drive thru line after we were at the window were getting their food before us. Left with no food. Why have a walk up window if you can’t get service from it. Shouldn’t be open."
"We were out of town and needed food. We ordered via the automated drive through. When we pulled up to pay, the cashier Jon-Erick said "If you give me a minute, I can save you a few bucks." He managed to combine some milkshakes and sides into combos and did indeed save us a few bucks. Thank you!"
