"Beautiful spring, well maintained, & great place to hang for the day!"
"Wow what a beautiful spring!! I have been to many of Florida’s springs, and this one by far is the most beautiful and “close to nature”. It also has the largest swimming area of all the ones I’ve ever been to, and much of the shoreline has natural vegetation growing throughout, and a snorkeling paradise! Many fish were present, and couple of turtles too, and the entire shoreline is accessible to swimmers, and the careful observer can spend the entire day there seeing fish and critters along the fallen trees and lily pads along the edge, and you can swim out over the actual spring itself and look down into it. It looks like divers are welcome here also if they’d like explore it, and I only came to swim, but it has a sizable picnic area, and hot showers activated push-button style. I give it five stars for the natural beauty of the spring!"
"I’ve camped here multiple times over the past several years, great place to come with your family and friends to hang out at the springs, get a shower and place to cool off while hiking the Florida trail, or use as a base camp for other adventures in Ocala National Forest. Staff is friendly and helpful. It’s best to buy firewood offsite as they run out quickly on the weekends once folks arrive."
"Day use area. Does not have rooms but I will rate 5 stars as I don't want them counted off for an error in formatting questions. The swimming area was great. A nice place for new scuba divers to practice."
"Campsites are very good however without any hookups it is pricy. Day use area experiences large crowds and afternoon bathrooms are trashed especially on weekends in summer. Showers in bathrooms may not work. Boardwalk is closed for long times. Admission is expensive unless you qualify for discounts (natnl.parks rules). Staff acts friendly. Campsites are only reserved online. Spring swimming and kayaking access are great and closed after 7pm. There could be gators."
