"I had a pleasant experience at this salon. I was welcomed with a smile, consulted about my hair condition, educated through out my service & met some wonderful women here. I can honestly say I received my first real “hair salon” experience here. I highly recommend, the owner is an absolute doll. Thank you so much for everything."
"I was recommended to this salon after carefully deciding who to go by. However, it was a HORRIBLE experience. I really wish I read her reviews before going to her. She was demeaning the whole time while I was getting my hair relaxed. Her attitude was very unprofessional. She was obviously not fond with me getting a relaxer. Also coming from the hairstylist and owner herself, it was so demeaning to be asked where I was from I guess because of my Caribbean accent then she replied to “So.., you’re black”. Like obviously I am! But what are you really trying to say? She also laughed at my face when she asked me if I liked my hair relaxed. When she asked me who recommended me she quickly changed her attitude and started commenting how “ beautiful” my hair is. What a fake! I am never going there again. That being said, if you’re going to get a perm prepare for the judgment and demeaning treatment from Dorinda."
