Once Upon A Child at River City Marketplace

"Very disappointed! I came here to sell my baby clothes to get her money to get her more up size clothes! They going to keep maybe about 12 for about 11 bucks and the rest giving back to me for nothing! Excuse me! Alot of these she didn’t even wear or touched and I have spent 10-30 bucks on these! And then the lady going to say “ could be the wrinkles” really?!? Just because they have wrinkles which half the store has torn clothes and threads coming out! That’s ridiculous!my best friend came in here and sold hers and hers was worn in and wasn’t the best shape and she got more than me! I won’t be coming back here and I will tell others it’s a waste of time to sell anything here! I already got 100.00 for these clothes! Just very upsetting!"

"We’ve gone here twice since our twins turned a year old and have each time bought months worth of clothes and shoes for under $200. The quality and selection is unmatched by any kids resale shop we’ve been to. And they’ve cheerfully sorted through and purchased clothes from us as well each time. Awesome store with friendly staff. "I’ve always had great experiences here but today takes the cake! I shopped there with my youngest today and she brought her best friends of many years, belly the rainbow sloth. He goes with her everywhere. Well, we got all the way back to the GA border (we live about 40 minutes away) and realized she left him there. I called the store to make sure and the kind gentleman walked down the aisle and found him. We turned the car around and headed back. When I pulled up I ran inside real quick as we were in a rush. There he was, on the counter, sporting a new outfit! Lol the sweet employee behind the counter bought him a onesie and had dressed him. When I brought him out to the car my kids all squealed at how cute he was. She fell asleep with him within minutes. I’m sorry I didn’t stop longer to thank the staff more for the effort they put in. Truly sweet! My daughter has been talking non stop about his outfit and has now requested we buy him more clothes. Thank you again!!!"

"Brought clothes in to sell, it took almost 3 hours for them to finish going through everything, but they gave me a very generous offer for my items and neatly put the items back in the bins that they weren't accepting. The staff was helpful and friendly."

"I dropped off my sons 5t clothing off, was told it was a 4 hour wait, in a white laundry basket; all folded, refreshment washed (including the shoes), and organized by sets. Received a text almost 5 hours later, arrive not long after. Employees couldn’t find my sale, told me “unfortunately, we are unable to offer you anything for your clothing due to everything needs to be freshly washed and folded neatly, so we have to refuse your buy.” So I refused to purchase anything at that time, and will never return. Later reorganized the clothes to find I am missing items. This location is horrible and rude, would of been better if I was told, we aren’t accepting this size at this time, or your items don’t meet our criteria."
