“Got a triple room, really good rate and attentive communication with the hotel but 2 of the bed side lights didn't work and there was nowhere to plug them or anything else in beside the bed. Went to move one of the lights to the dressing table thinking I could at least plug it in there while I did my make-up...nope round pin on plug and socket doesn't accept it”

“Perfect pre marathon hotel. 15 minutes and you are in the centre. Rooms clean and tidy and not too noisy when trying to sleep night before. Breakfast was early to allow runners to eat before although I had brought own food. Would recommend and stay again”

“The staff always go out of their way to ensure that every customer that walks in has an experience they will never forget, they are so welcoming and friendly and really make an effort to interact and communicate with customers. The relationship between staff members also is extremely refreshing to see. I personally think the hospitality sector has had such a huge hit during COVID but coming into this establishment honestly is a breath of fresh air as the atmosphere is terrific and the staff really make an effort to ensure each person that walks in has such a good time. “I was honestly very apprehensive about this stay after a not great last stay and having read the recent reviews however we had an absolutely fantastic experience. Katie who checked us in was an absolute star. Our room was lovely. We had dinner in the restaurant which we all enjoyed. Lavinia was fantastic. Breakfast was great. A really lovely family break away. “Stayed here for a night away to Dublin. Could not recommend this hotel highly enough. The cleanliness, facilities and staff were excellent. The bedroom was well appointed, beds very comfy, TV, shower, iron, hairdryer. Very good connectivity with public transport into the city centre. For 225 euro for the night I thought it was very good value. We will be back.”

“Very nice staff, comfortable beds, warm shower, well located with beautiful surroundings!! A morning walk is really worth it. The kitchen has a lot of plates and tools, you can easily cook. There's a filter as well for drinkable water. Would definitely stay again!”

“Always pleasant. Fantastic opening hours. Staff go above and beyond to help people out. They deliver prescriptions to your door for free. They gave great promotional days and regular sales. Their make-up and fragrance section is almost as good as Boots, and unlike Boots this is an Irish owned chemist. On my last visit to them I urgently needed a ventolin inhaler for my sick husband who is a cancer survivor and asthmatic. I turned up and panicked, I realised too late that I had forgotten my purse on the hurry to get the medication. I need not have worried, they said "take it and run and get it back to us when you can"! Now that is putting the customers needs first. I just can't speak highly enough about them. They're just wonderful.”
