“This was a truly a great place to stay, its not far from town centre. The rooms were spotless, amd very comfortable. We had breakfast and evening meal, breakfast was so nice i had full English but there is plenty of other choices fruit, cereals, jams and pan cakes. In the evening you could have a 3 course meal, i have to say everything i had tasted so good. The staff there were friendly and helpful, they were all nice. I can definitely say i will be re visiting this place again.”

“Excellent hotel. Ideal for single, couples and families, groups etc. Ideal location so close to the main shopping street and other amenities. Lovely friendly professional staff. Free carpark and use of the car park during your stay up until 1pm on the day of your departure. The rooms are impeccably clean. The beds are really comfy and the showers are next level. Great price for a fab location in the center of Killarney town Will definitely book Scotts Hotel again.”

“We had afternoon tea here and it was absolutely lovely. The tearoom overlooks the water, and the overstuffed seating is so comfy. The sandwiches and scones and desserts are all top notch, and the servers are super attentive. Highly recommended. We returned a week later to have lunch in the restaurant. I would not rate the atmosphere, service or food as highly as that which we had at the Afternoon Tea. The service was a bit lacking, no one checked back to ask if the meal was all right. The food was very good but not great. My husband really enjoyed his burger, and I enjoyed my chicken salad.”

“After a very long drive from the North West , my stay at the Lancaster Lodge was exactly what was needed. I loved everything about my stay from the very stylish and comfortable room, the secure parking and the breakfast. There is no bar food or restaurant for evening dining however Cork City center is only a short walk or drive( whichever you prefer) so you won't have to far to go to dine out!”

“Arrived to a lovely lady playing Beethoven in the lobby, the check-in was effortless - bear in mind you do need a VISA card. The rooms were clean and spacious. The bar was cool and the bar staff were even cooler - Kevin was A1. Felt very safe at nighttime as one needs to be buzzed in the main reception door. The hotel is situated in an excellent location just 7 minutes walk to the train station and on the same road, no turns. Lots of nice bars and restaurants on this same road too. Would definitely stay here again.”

“It was so busy today at approx one o'clock and two. The staff were so Lovely. Wishing everyone happy new year, plus I ordered my salmon to be filleted and forgot to go back to counter and the lady came and found me Phillip is also such a wonderful help always. Giving advise about the fresh meats. The lady at the fishe counter is Mary and Aoife who is new is so willing to learn and do lovely with the customers. I love Dunnes in ballyvolane. The cashier today was Sonia. Maura Marie and Tina are the staples of the store.”

Rarely leave without buying a few bits more than what I go in for. Staff friendly and helpful Toilets available for customers Large parking area”

“We stayed while down for a gaa match. We got a cheap deal with the basic room. It was abit rough around the edges but perfect for what we needed. I'm sure the more deluxe rooms are much newer and nicer. Couldn't fault the staff they where 10/10 and nice carvery everyday. Even on a normal Monday it was busy with both guests and locals. Would definitely stay again for a match. About 30 min walk to stadium but all footbpath into town centre and over to the stadium..”

“Stopped in for a little bit to eat and caught their early bird special. Great deal as you get an appetizer and entree with a drink. The BBQ ribs were fantastic (appetizer) and the Szechuan pork dish was the best I've ever had. I truly wish I could come back and eat here again. Service was prompt and very friendly.”
