“My husband and I traveled to Ireland for the first time to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Throughout our journey we traveled over 840 kilometers within the first four days. While encountering many bed and breakfast locations and hotels, none of them compare to the Liss Ard Estate. This Estate is absolutely stunning and surround by views of the countryside, a beautiful garden and a forest fit for a picture book beside a robust lake. Upon arriving at the Estate we were accommodated with the most outstanding hospitality and professionalism. We appreciated every detail this Estate offers that truly made our vacation feel as if we were on a magical retreat. Throughout our stay my husband and I feel like we have gained friends due to the amazing courtesy shown by the staff of the Estate as they perfected every detail of our stay. “I've had the pleasure of using Hagal Farm for hosting massage workshops and they really took such fantastic care of our group that I would not hesitate to recommend it on and it will be my first choice in future. The energy of this valley is magic, and a walk from the farm is both meditative and restoring. The gardens are tended with care, and beautiful herbs and veggies grown on site find their way to the kitchen for wholesome, nourishing meals made with love. Try their refreshing homemade herbal teas! We had the use of several workshop spaces which was fantastic to be able to set up different areas for different uses during the few days. Super hosts were incredibly helpful, I cannot recommend highly enough.”

“Absolutely charming B&B. We were greeted by a lady that was like your Irish grandma, after we settled into the room, she served coffee and biscuits along with nice conversation. It was a chilly day and there was a fire in the fireplace, the setting was perfect. Breakfast was top notch, the porridge was the best I've had and the Irish breakfast was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. The room was spacious and well appointed. We hope to stay there longer the next time we go to Ireland.”

“I highly recommend a visit to the the Caddyshack. I have been on numerous occasions, as part of a group and also with my partner and young child. The mini golf is great fun and my 3 year old boy had a ball. (So much so that he keeps asking to go back!!) There was a great selection of pizzas on offer which were delicious and the atmosphere was lovely to enjoy a few pints and cocktails. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Super new addition to the town.”

“First time staying in the North County this weekend with my partner. We were warmly welcomed by Roisin who checked what time we'd like our breakfast. Our room was very clean and looked out on the street below where we had gotten parking just outside the door. Great value and brill location and very close to shops, pubs etc - everything is in walking distance. We got food late on the Friday eve and there was no issues with using the sitting room to eat it and catch up with family! Breakfast (full irish) was cooked to order and the food was gorgeous!!! Will definitely return to this family run b&b.”
