“Lovely experience at Roseville House recently. The Garden suite has its own entrance which is great for privacy. The room has nautical accents with white painted shiplap on the walls, very appropriate when you're beside the sea! It was really welcoming and clean, with comfy wingback chairs and an electric fire if you felt the need. The larder press is really well stocked with cereals, juices, yoghurts etc so breakfast is on your own time. Great bathroom, really luxurious!”

“Stayed here for a Friend's wedding happening in the town, its location is very central and a very short walk to the sea. Mary and John were fantastic hosts, very welcoming and couldn't do enough to help us while we were there. Our room was very clean and spacious, and the breakfast was great with plenty of choice. Would highly recommend!”

“A small, low lighthouse, but very spectacular. On the left, an observation platform and a few benches with a great view of the ships entering and leaving the Port. On the right side, just behind the wall is a descent to the beach. Quite steep and narrow, there are also several steps. When there is low tide, you can come along the beach, but when the tide comes, the waves hit the rocks, amazing experiences. You have to park your car on the hard shoulder on the other side of the street.”

“On our Ireland tour we were in 10 different B&B accommodations. This one was one of the 2 best. Here everything was available, a great location, very good equipment, very good breakfast. The view is fantastic. Unfortunately we were only one night here. But we can recommend it to others. Thank you very much.”

“Should of done this much earlier, sorry Lucy. I stayed 8 nights in July 2017. I was very much made part of the family. Really looked after me and couldn't do enough for me. Breakfasts were superb and the full Irish was stunning, set me up for day for my lovely walks in this very interesting town with masses of history, which needs to be promoted much much more. Hope Lucy everything family wise is going well! Just finish off to say as I said all the time, the bed was something else, best ever.”

“This was such a welcome place to stay after a long journey. Such a warm welcome from Freda. Parking very convenient around the corner. Spotless room. I stayed in the studio. Everything you needed including a small well equipped kitchenette. Will make this my regular stopping point.”

“The food was incredible. Meat super soft, fish had amazing flavour, even the sides were awesome! I strongly recommend getting some of the homemade ice cream for dessert, it's above and beyond what I expected! On top of the great food, the staff and people running this restaurant are just super lovely, and make you feel at home immediately.”

“We've holidayed at Finn and Claire's superb holiday homes every year since 2018. They are wonderful hosts - friendly, helpful, genuine people. Both properties, The Loft and Masons, are perfectly located, you only have to step outside the front doors and you are on the spectacular Sheep's Head Way. The Loft is perfect for two/three people and has been lovingly restored. It is a home from home with a difference - its balcony affords beautiful views across Dunmanus Bay. This year, friends from France joined us so we stayed in Masons, which was also very comfortable and catered for all our needs - pristine, modern bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, fantastic Wifi and Sky TV, and most importantly, amazing views of the Bay through a large window in the sitting room. In these days of high fuel prices and if you enjoy hiking, once you arrive at either property, you don't need to drive again until you're leaving. However, if you do want a change from hiking, there are lots of places to go including Bantry, Schull, Skibbereen and Glengarriff.”
