The Team are amazing: real professionals and so nice people like Sandra, Mary and Debbie make your feel as if you were staying in their own home. Hannah in the lounge was very kind to us also on our first evening. David chef de cuisine prepared beautiful dishes at dinner, local Irish and European. The breakfasts are a delight. The gardens are so beautiful, swimming in the lake was a treat and refreshing. The wild dear that cam to the garden...We miss the place. Top class and thank you to the Team there for a super holiday.”

Happy Paws Hotel
● Open“We've been leaving our "furry babies" as my wife calls them with Yvonne for years. Our last dog, Chewie, and her sister Alfie were, shall we say, high dependency. Not a bother for Happy Paws. Our current bundle of furry joy, Bettie, loves it there too. We've also taken advice from Yvonne about trainers and groomers, all excellent, and we buy our dog food off her. Overall, couldn't recommend highly enough.”

Otherwise this hotel is a gem, the facilities loads to do, the views amazing all staff we engaged with were excellent and very chatty at dinner and breakfast. Would 100% book again, just maybe dine out next time :/ Photos are 1 from the walk on hotel grounds and 2nd from room balcony in morning (red sky).”

Hayfield Manor Hotel
● Open“Old world charm which I love. We stayed here on April 1st, 2023. Relatively small hotel very close to Cork City centre. Oozez charm. Great bedrooms with fab bathrooms. Loved the garden areas and aviary. Really good pool and spa. Very good restaurant, and the breakfast was one of the best I've had. But finally I have to say that the staff were second to none. I loved when they give you eye contact and immediately pick up on that you want something, and not the other way around. They couldn't do enough for us.... Serious kudos. I hope that I can revisit sometime because Cork City was a great experience.”

The gardens are prefect for an outdoor ceremony or just a relaxing stroll, many beautiful mature trees and flowers and the coach house complete with mezzanine, kitchen were perfect for housing the wedding dinner. Our host and proprietor Patrick, has a wealth of historical knowledge about his beloved Blackwater Castle and was quietly on hand to help with any practical problems, all in all we could not have asked for a better venue for beauty, privacy and hospitality, I would highly recommend it to anyone, unforgettable place.”

The Ashe Hotel

The room was super clean and incredibly spacious (i've had smaller apartments). The bed and furnishings were top class and comfortable. The bathroom was hyper clean. The jacuzzi bath and rainfall shower were exquisite. This hotel pays attention to all the small details in a way that anyone else I've stayed with recently, does not come close to. The breakfast was so good with a very solid vegan option. The best breakfast I've had in a hotel potentially ever. Exceptional value for money and I can't wait to return.”
