“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Desmond House. Rooms were comfortable and included a Nespresso machine. The breakfast is made to order by the owners themselves. They even set out snacks in the afternoon. The lemon curd crumble was to die for! Excellent location steps away from all the action. Would highly recommend!”

“Imelda is incredible! I would never leave my cat anywhere else. She takes such good care of him and I know that I don’t need to worry at all while he is at Truffle Lodge. Imelda is so good with the cats and she knows how to mind them when they are a little stressed out. The rooms are a great size with lots of hiding or climbing spaces. There are loads of lovely toys and they take turns to come out into the corridor for more space and exercise. Imelda always sends pictures and videos to let you know how your cat is doing. My cat never wants to leave by the end! I would reschedule my holiday if Imelda did not have availability as I would not trust anyone else to do such a great job!”

“What a little gem. Our hostess Anne could not do enough for us.Boutiuue hotel with interesting garden and waterfront view from our balcony. Coffee al fresco in the morning. No breakfast but plenty of eateries in Kinsale. Really enjoyed the stay. Rooms are small but very well appointed.”

“Loved this hotel! Fabulous room, impeccable service. We had a spacious room that overlooked the harbor. The pub restaurant on the entry level floor is very nice, and the more formal restaurant on the upper level was Fabulous! There are also private lounges and bar exclusive for hitel guests. Plenty of parking. It's a nice walk into town. I would definitely stay here again, highly recommend it!”

“Every single aspect of our stay was perfect. From being greeted on arrival, a warm immaculate room, with more amenities than I expected. Service in the bar for our 2 evening meals was superb and breakfast was spot on, not once was any negativity expressed if we asked for something. Totally excellent service from very friendly staff.”
